Plaza Jalisco — Restaurant in San Antonio

We've been here many times for the delicious food & good service. However, the last time was terrible. We were there for 10 mins before anyone acknowledge us even though the restaurant was barely half full. Eventually, a server took our drink order then disappeared another 10 mins before taking our meal order. We were already annoyed, but the food came rather quickly. Sadly, my potato & egg taco had egg shell fragments & my carnitas taco was charred beyond belief. We tried getting a hold of the server, but she was no where to be found. Typical neighborhood Mexican eatery. Salsa is watery and mid. Good looking young waitresses. Mine took my order and served me well. She was a skinny one with brown hair. She wanted to take my menu, but I indicated that I was going to order to go. After bringing my food, I stayed and relaxed for a bit waiting for her to return for perhaps an unsweetened tea refill and give my to-go order. She never once came back to check on me. I went to the counter to get a refill. She gave me sweet tea, lol. I didn't want to make an issue of it. I decided against ordering to go after that. Will likely choose another place next Sunday.

Ordered carnitas plate, we also ordered enchilada plate and two Tacos bean and cheese and beef fajita. The food was okay nothing seemed fresh on the carnitas plate the beans seemed heated up in microwave also I didn’t have really any beans in my plate it was many chicharon and the carnitas was reheated as well no flavor at all. The tortillas were not fresh and not homemade they seemed store bought. The enchilada plate was good, my husband he like the plate. The bean and cheese was good just making salt.
