I love this little Mexican restaurant again not all Mexican restaurants are created equal this one doesn't care what color you are all they care about is your money because of your money and they are service is excellent they're kind of courteous they're helpful even though I'm bilingual I didn't know how to pronounce certain things and they helped me correctly say the item I wanted correctly and they remember me so they didn't know my favorite foods already and I've only been there for 5 times they know all my favorite dishes and they know all my family they remember all my family members and so it's just a pleasure to go there it's a pleasant atmosphere my daughter and her family loves loves loves as though restaurant you know and they've tried lots of Mexican restaurants here in San Antonio and this is their up most favorite restaurant for the quality and The Taste it's just wonderful and I think what makes it even better is the wonderful people that work there that their management has done very very well I live on Potranco and Ingram and if you know my area there's a little Mexican restaurant not too far from where I live but I rather go and extra half a mile down the street to this Mexican restaurant because the one near me does not treat me very well like I said not all restaurants are...

I love is a new Mexican restaurants.. and this one was not bad. Immediately the first server with red lipstick did not pay attention to us did not smile just quickly asked what we wanted to drink and she walked away without hearing what the other people in our party wanted to drink, so when the other waitress brought our drinks she was confused. The second waitress was not able to communicate with us completely because she did not know English. Honestly if you're going to live in the United States this long or decide to live in the States you must learn English. It is a disrespect if I go to any other country and refused to learn their native language for years and years or not even make an attempt. The same goes for the United States please learn English so that you can communicate with the large percentage of people that live here. I did not visit the restrooms or look around too much this was just a quick first impression.. the food was good and fresh. That's all for now until I visit again with more detail on the kitchen condition restroom condition and everything else that I usually pay attention to. Up update.. their Large Menudo is good enough for two people and it comes with a lot of accessories unlike other Mexican places that forget and don't even include it they readily add it with...

This place has the WORST customer service anywhere. We ordered tacos and 2 we asked to add bacon to them at and additional cost of course, we asked the drive thru lady..in Spanish as they don't care to even try to learn English...if they added the bacon, she replied very sternyl " I saw the cook add the bacon sir!"...ok and off we went home to eat breakfast...well to our surprise only 1 had the bacon in it...I called back and the same young lady answered the phone and when I was attempting to explain the issue she immediately said " I saw him put bacon in the taco!"...i said, excuse but we are missing the bacon for the second taco that BTW you all charged extra for....she stayed quiet and then came back and said...."Well do you want your money back or what?"...I said never mind and hung up...well never again will I spend my hard earned money in such a terrible place. good bye Taqueria La Tapatia hello Tink a Taco up the road......PS and I am only giving the 1 star cause it wont let me post unless I...

Stopped in because I had been wanting some chilaquiles for a while. I didnt know of any restaurants in the area but saw this one on my way home. They are easy to see from the street and they have a drive thru which was a major bonus. You drive up to the menu and your order is taken very quickly so you may want to have an idea of what you would like more or less. The line moves very quickly. The prices are amazing and the food is quite good. No salt was added to the eggs at all, but I guess that's what the cheese if for. For my plate of chilaquiles with beans and 2 hot delicious tortillas was $4.25. Yes $4.25 and it was a lot of food. I couldn't finish it all. Their green salsa is spicey and so good. I will be making a trip back to try other items.

I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their salsa. When I get served the complimentary chips and salsa that is the first thing I try before trying anything else. And boy was their salsa great! I proceeded to order their huevos rancheros (which disappointingly doesn’t come with bacon but most restaurants do that anyway) and it was amazing. Good beans, salsa, potatoes, and eggs. Everything was cooked to order. My only complaint however, which isn’t a very big one, is the service. I saw most of the reviews mentioning good service but I must have been there on a bad day because it wasn’t very good. It wasn’t terrible but it could have been better. Other than that everything was great!!
