To start off , I haven’t been here In almost a year. After seeing them on the news behind the kitchen doors with their low score and bug problem a year ago I thought it be taken care of. Our first drinks came with a bug in it . Then after 1 hour waiting the waitress forgot to bring one of our plates, even after she recommended that plate. lol! The after 2 hours there , we finally had to ask another waitress for waters , we had already finished eating. Never got waters ,,,, There is never a manager there even after a year we have not eaten there. This place really sux balls! What really toped it off is there was not even alot of people there, , 4 tables being occupied. The service was horrible. I had to keep calling the waitress cuz she was on her phone at register the whole time. The people that own this restaurant needs to be there. I have no idea how these people run a business if they are never there , especially on weekend , the busy’s days. I can see why I don’t see much cars there anymore. I challenge to ask for a manager after 7 pm , Then girls have nobody to call on . Who ever owns this establishment, you need to close your place and sell at the pulga! 😂trash trash trash ! Sorry this is how bad this experience was for me and my family. Never coming here again ! Y’all can take some other idiot money. I’d rather go to sea island. At least they take care of their customers snd have good food , And good management! 🤣 Worst freaking $125 I spent on 3 people. Never coming back to...
Read moreWe went at 7:30 on a Monday. There were only 3 families, including us, so it was a nice, quiet atmosphere. The waiter was polite, even bringing my daughter a sample of horchata (she loved it). We shared fried tuna chunks, which were amazing. The kids each had a ceviche plate that I had a hard time not snagging from them. We told the waiter to bring out 6 tacos of different types, so he had a balanced course for us: 2 poblano and grilled shrimp, 1 fried fish, 1 fried shrimp, 1 grilled fish, and 1 grilled shrimp. The fried tacos packed a flavor punch while the grilled were mellow and relaxing. We haven't had the poblano tacos yet since we were stuffed after eating the other two (I'm a big guy that can put the food away, so that says something about the satisfaction level of the food). The only thing I'd have to "warn" someone about is the sauce that comes with the tostada shells (instead of chips). The tan one is mildly warm, very reminiscent of a Spicy Tuna sushi roll both in heat and flavor. The green one had some heat. I enjoy pickled jalapenos as an eat-straight snack, and this green sauce lit me up for a couple minutes. It had a wonderful, herbaceous flavor, too. In any case, 6 tacos, 2 ceviche plates, and 4 drinks ran us around $60, with left overs to take home. In all, this is definitely a place we...
Read moreExtremely poor service! The food was not good and the cooks in the kitchen were conducting food prep with no gloves on, while one cook ws touching his face and hair while drinking a Bud Light beer. The mens restroom did not have any soap or towels to wash and dry hands. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress, she said that she was new and would let the cooks know as they have more "authority". The food was not very good. The chicken flautas had absolutely no flavor and the paella was not very tasty. Our waitress, on two occasions during our meal sat at one of the tables in the dining area and began applying her make-up, curling her eyelashes and brushing her hair. We could not believe what we were seeing. We informed her that the behavior and unsanitary practices we had witnessed were totally innapropriate and violates food service health ordinance. She claimed that they were under new management and that may be why people are complaining. We have eaten there many times in the last 5 years and it was never this bad. In fact, the service and food was always good. Needless to say, we will not be eating there again and we do not recommend this...
