Pulled up through the drive thru, ordered the following: 3 Tacos 1 - Steak Finger Basket Jalito's Dipped Cone in a cup I was told that they can't do a dipped cone in a cup. I asked why? (I've ordered this ALL the time at any DQ), I was told their manager said no. I proceeded to drive up to the window, and asked again why is it that the dipped cone can't be in a cup - she said because our Manager doesn't make them like this. I asked to speak to the manager, a few seconds went by and a girl flung open the window and said her manager was in the bathroom - I said I'd wait. 7 minutes went by, Priscilla (manager) finally came to the window and didn't ask us what the issue was (I believe she was filled in on this before she came to the window) she recited the entire order - and when she came to the dipped cone in a cup she said "we don't make them how you want it", I asked why? She said because "this is my DQ and I tell them not to make it that way". I corrected her and said this is not YOUR DQ, you are a manager here, not the owner of it - she rolled her eyes and said I will charge you for a sunday if you want it in a cup because that's what your ordering, I said no it's not what I'm ordering, I just want a dipped cone in a cup. I even pulled up pictures online of a dipped cone in a cup - and she said yeah, I ain't making it. She then said "if I was going to have my attitude that I had (which at this point I was pretty upset that out of ALL the DQ's I've been to no one ever has been this rude or adamant about not making it this way when they clearly advertise it) that I can go somewhere else, even though she had my debit card in her hand already, I told her I would do just that and I took back my debit card and left. She wasted food over a simple dipped cone in a cup. It took me a while to actually post this because I was so upset by her actions and how unprofessional she and her staff that kept walking by the window laughing .... sadly I'll never go back to this location. EVER! Photo is a stock photo pulled from a search of "DQ Dipped Cone in a Cup".

I stop regularly for dipped cones with my son after school. McDonald's is more convenient because they're everywhere, ice cream is not their specialty so it's always subpar to be expected. Dairy Queen has a longer wait but it is typically worth it for there uniform and normally consistent product, today being the exception. 1) if your staple product is soft serve, there should not be anyting but grade A soft serve cones passing through the window. 2) if there is some error or oversight by a new or careless employee , a manager should stop and make it right in the moment and not wait for the customer to ask. this is just an ice cream cone I know but I only went for two ice cream cones. I've went in before when fast food places fail to provide customer service. I'm 6ft 3 and have a big voice. I asked to speak to the manager and make a whole show of it, not rude or ugly just clear on what they did was wrong. had my son not been with me, the cones would be looking a lot better tomorrow.

Very pleased with my chicken strip order with ranch and fries. Saved money by not ordering a drink. Did you know they will take your order over the phone!! Smart thinking so you don’t have to wait in the long line. Love the dilly bars. Good service & the manager shows commitment. Update 2/3/21 I purchased the ice cream cake for $24.99 and it was a hit! The size was big enough to feed 14 guest. It’s truly ice cream cake. Choose your ice cream cake before you open the freezer. When your ready to serve take out of freezer 5 mins before cutting. There’s a chocolate and vanilla flavor. There is no decor on the cake so make sure to buy sprinkles/candles/decor. I will definitely buy again.

My wife and I will usually go to this particular one when we decide to go, for it's larger in size and always clean. They usually would have someone, usually the manager, handling the register, while the rest were cooking, making the ice cream specialties, taking care of the drive thru, etc. Always a good place to go.....until today.

Today I was going to go thru the drive thru, for my wife only wanted a banana split. Since she was at home, and I didn't want to go in, I pulled up behind another car at the speaker/menu. I had my window down so I could hear the speaker and I noticed the time, 3:55pm. At 4:05pm, the car in front was still waiting to make their order. At 4:10pm, I parked and went inside. The other car was still waiting to place their order.

I saw only two customers inside, and a woman with her daughter at the register. The staff were not coordinated, and seemed to be lost. One man was in the kitchen on a ladder at the exhaust. A young lady seemed to be looking for something. Nobody else in the kitchen. Nobody at the register. One girl messing around with the ice cream cones, two others apparently making ice cream treats, and yet another working with a taller woman at the drive thru window. At 4:25, another female employee came walking up to the register with a spray bottle and rag in her hands. The woman and her daughter moved to the side, and the employee asked what I wanted. I told her one banana split with pecans to go (remember the TO GO).

At this time, an older man, whom I didn't recognize, ran up to the register with the cash drawer. He put it in, gave the woman with the daughter some change, then he asked what I wanted. Again, I said one banana split with pecans to go. He then asked if I wanted pecans or peanuts? I told him pecans. He asked if this was for here or to go? I told him to go. The price for a banana split is $3.79. I don't understand why it cost me $4.91.

I moved over to where they were making the treats and noticed the car that had been ahead of me finally got to the window, roughly 10 minutes after the last car left. The employee then asked the woman in the car, "Okay, what did you have?"

Then another female employee walked up and started making the banana split. After she made it, she handed it to me and I told her it was supposed to have pecans. She put the pecans on it. She then put the spoon into the split and handed it to me. I told her again it was to go. So she had to ask, "So you want a top on it?" She took the spoon out, put a top on it, put it into a sack and gave it to me.

The last crew that worked here, and I got to know them all by sight to include the manager, worked as a precision team. The manager ran a tight ship, the orders were always right, there were never any delays, and they all paid attention to what you said to them, including repeating the order and giving you a receipt (neither of those were done today).

I'm telling you now, if this "restaurant" doesn't shape up really quick, they're not only losing two customers, but I'm telling everybody I know about how I was treated today, and recommending Sonic or even McDonald's...

First off this place has been going down hill for sometime but we held on to hope that the last three times were just flukes. IT WAS NOT. We live 10 minutes away so we decided to go fix my pregnancy craving for some Banana Splits around 8:45pm. This place is always busy but when we got there, there were only four cars in front of us. We waited in line to order at the drive thru for 30 minutes even while two other cars grew impatient and drove off. We finally get to place our order AFTER being told to hold on for a minute which quickly turned to five. We get to window only to be told nuts for our splits are an extra $2-$3 AND they gave it to us in a beat up plastic cup with Saran Wrap and sent us on our way with what can only be described as SOUP. We noticed the bag they put our splits in was wet and soggy but thought maybe it was condensation so we continued on home. So when we get home I open the bag and find the the situation so we will conduct our business elsewhere from now on. Maybe it’s just the location but regardless we won’t be DQ customers anymore. We aren’t loosing much and clearly neither are they as they have nothing of quality to give anyway liquid mess they called a Banana Split. I couldn’t even find the banana and aside from it ruining my craving we called to get a refund and or replacement another day and the “assistant” manager who answered quickly got an attitude and said it’s policy for us to drive back (even though they’d be closed) and take them their soup concoction IF we wanted a refund. We told her there was no way we were going back AFTER hours- one for safety and two we were not about to be left high and dry (we show up and no one is there). They offered NO apology or opportunity to replace it or fix the situation so we will conduct our business elsewhere from now on. Maybe it’s just the location but regardless we won’t be DQ customers anymore. We aren’t loosing much and clearly neither are they as they have nothing of quality to give anyway. Save yourself the time and money and go to...
