Place is nice. We waited awhile for food to come to us .The waiter took awhile to check up on us through out the time we were their. He would wave to us from a distance asking us from afar if we needed anything. As a waiter you come to the table to see how we are doing. Margaritas were good. Both me and my husband ordered pozole. Definitely don't order unless you want to be spitting out bones through out your whole meal. We had large bones, small bones, sharp bones. I complained to the manager that it was very hard to enjoy our meal. When she came to my table, you would think that her response would have been hello I am such and such manager how can I help you today? No, her response was Yes ? So I informed her if the soup was the last of it because the bowl was mostly broth and bones. Her reply was they refrigerate after two hours. And reheat and when it is over heated the meat falls off the bones. And she stated to me " they are damned if they do! And damned if they don't. As a manager you expect that she would have been more professional. Instead she was just ghetto. It is to nice of a place to have someone like that representing your restaurant. I definitively was not expecting a response like that. Now she did not charge me for the bowl of soup . But that is not the point I'm trying to make here . She was very unprofessional . And If you have two customers that have the same complaint you would think that she would offered something different or given a discount on the other bowl or taken care of both of us or something . Especially knowing all the proof with all the bones that we showed her on our plate and in our bowls. Understand that I have gone too many restaurants and I have never had this issue. I definitely will...
Read moreHonestly, I’m a bit surprised I haven’t reviewed Sandra’s Mexican Food/ Tink-A-Tako #12 before—and don’t be fooled, the “Tink-A-Taco” brand/ locations are NOT all the same so don’t settle for just any; I don’t know how they divi up the name but the Potranco Rd location (Sandra’s) definitely has to be the BEST One in terms of quality of food; size/ food portions; and even customer service! I’ve been coming to these Guys for many moons now but recently moved so not a place I frequent a lot anymore!
However, I went this morning and was reminded why I Love this Place so much and why it continues to be one of Favorites for breakfast—if you are unsure what you want, I always recommend the Pork Chops and Eggs! But for me, it’s the variety of great meat tacos that do it for me—the barbacoa; the chicharrón; the tripas; and the carne guisada! Do them all with Avocado 🥑 slices and you will be in Heaven! No pics today—I was too hungry and ate up all of my food too fast! But you can rest assured that they’re coffee iwiil be solid; their breakfast variety is Great; the Customer Service is Positively Consistent (although they are always slow to bring the ketchup 😂); and the Quality of Food is Always Awesome! Again, of my “Tried and True” Favorites—sorry Tink-A-Tako #12 for not rating you sooner; I was probably keeping your location a secret all to myself! Maybe pictures the next time—if I remember take them before I eat...
Read moreMy friend always spoke highly about this restaurant. I have never been here before, so this evening we went there, my very first time. I ordered a Mango Margarita, I did not like the way it taste. I asked the waitress “L” if I could change it for a Peach Margarita and she told me No she could not change it nor take it off my bill. I spoke with the Manager and she told me No, I can not take it off your bill because it has alcohol in it. The Manager ask me “why did I order a Mango Margarita”? I was shocked by her remark!!! I told her politely I don’t want the Margarita and I’m not paying for something I did not drink, even if it came out of a Margarita machine. The Manager sent over another waitress to explain the reasoning for not charging me for the Mango Margarita. I explain to her regardless of this establishment, I have never been told and/or explained to that I would have to pay for an alcoholic drink that I did not like or drink. The primary goal is Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction!!!... Keeping your customers happy so they will come back is important for all types of businesses. This was not the case. So, with that being said... I was a first timer to Tink a Tako and a last Timer. Worst experience ever eventhough the Waitress were nice, “Not the Manager” they tired to explain to me and my friend about TABC policy regarding alcohol... We weren’t hearing that Bogus...
