Wild Wing Station - Austin Hwy — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've been wanting to try Wild Wing Station since I first noticed them several weeks ago. Tonight was the night! We ordered forty wings in four different flavors; a lamb gyro for me; and, a beef Philly cheesesteak with fries and a drink for my husband..YUM!! I practically inhaled my lamb gyro, it was SO good! The lamb was tender, the wrap was soft, and the cucumber sauce was the perfect condiment. My husband was also very pleased with his Philly cheesesteak. I was full, but wanted to try one of each flavor of wings, and I'm really, really glad I bought forty! Each was delicious, perfectly cooked, and nicely sauced. I don't have any more tummy room tonight, but I have no doubt I'll finish them all tomorrow. Great place. We will be back!

October 5 2022 and we finally got back for more! We came in around 1100 and had nearly the same order to go. We went to Brackenridge Park and I ate my lamb gyro and my husband ate his philly cheese steak. We were each so stuffed and happy and came home for a nap. We worked on those DELICIOUS wings for dinner and ate about half of them. Tomorrow night we'll finish them off. We think we know which are our favorites now and next time we can focus on them...but I'm still going to have to get another lamb gyro, and husband will probably have to get another philly cheese steak sandwich! Next time we'll call our order in for convenience, but the service will fast and friendly and food is...

Not sure how this place has all these stars! This was my first and last time eating here. Got the number 10, which comes with fried rice, 5 pc wing and a drink. My cousin was there with me and after placing our orders we found a table to sit at. Even if dining in food is placed in styrofoam containers. 😩 I finally got my order after about an 18 min wait. I had no problem with it until I realized the quality of the food. The fried rice has corn, green beans, peas, and carrots. Too many vegetables to be in fried rice in my opinion. With all this going on and the rice has NO FLAVOR. The wings were warm, and the rice was hot! My cousin's food came about 10 minutes after mine. Her order has been sitting on the counter and she hadn't been called yet. Needless to say her food was warm by the time she got it as well. The fries she ordered were COLD, I took them back and explained to the cashier that the fries were ice cold, their reply was do you want me to reheat them? 😐 I said NO can I get some fresh fries please. They said yes, but guess what I got? The SAME FRIES reheated, they have now gone from a pale hue to an overly tanned, hollowed middle, clearly refried fries! I was beyond disappointed. My husband and I were desperate to break away from wingstop and buffalo wild wings. We wanted something new unique and different but not budget busting...WOW, did we find it!!! This place is amazing clean,fast, and friendly service. And the food is to die for and the price is very wallet friendly. The combos are great the taste is fresh and full of flavor and every bite leaves you wanting more!!!! We went for wings and ended up getting so much more! The philly cheesesteak was sensational, we even ordered one to go! Definitely a new favorite and regular. Its 20 minutes from my apartment and so totally worth the drive!!! I was greeted and assisted by Cody and he was so helpful,patient and friendly! He helped break down the menu once we told him it was our first time there.
