Wild Wing Station - Walzem — Restaurant in San Antonio

First the most important thing. -Wings are awesome. The Buffalo Hot is a unique and delicious flavor. It’s so good I would pay to buy it bottled! -The Lemon Pepper was perfectly cooked and seasoned. -Fries are basic frozen fries and you get to add “seasoning” if you want, which I highly recommend as it does help. -Ranch is served in a premade cup. HOMEMADE RANCH WOULD TAKE THIS PLACE UP A WHOLE STAR! -The ranch and the fries…AND the service, lost them their star.

The service, is somewhat not their fault. It’s hard to get people to work right now, and beggars can’t be choosers. But man, these young workers have no sense of courtesy, professionalism, or manners in general. No greetings/welcomes for new customers entering the building…just eye rolls. No smile with a “what can I get ya?” No professionalism over the phone…just a “at this point, you’re gonna have to come in” hangs up phone, proceeds to put on headphones and dance 🤣🤣 Maybe that’s just how it is now, as this is becoming more common. Maybe it’s the area.. BUT if the fries and ranch didn’t lose them a star, their service would have. Fix these things, Wild Wing Station, and you guys...

My first time trying out the food here based off of great word of mouth reviews. I had a taste for chicken fried rice and was told theirs was good. I didn’t realize the menu was so extensive! They offer a variety of foods. I tried the lemon pepper wings and chicken fried rice. The rice was delicious!! Very good. The wings were just okay. They were bland but cooked well. I’ll stick to the competitor for my wings but the fried rice I will definitely order again and I’ll try their other foods on the menu as well. The Walzem location was clean and although extremely busy it ran like a well oiled machine! Very professional staff! I’ll be back! FYI it’s better to call in your order and pick it up. The lady that's works at the register I'm so sick of going in there and she has an attitude out this world. She always disappearing into the restroom for over 5 min. Your food can be ready but you cant get it until she comes out that restroom. She definitely forgets about people orders so if you black and you hear the cookers ring the bell my opinion very strong opinion us to ask if that's your order because she will definitely forget or purposely forget you sitting there waiting and will definitely over look you. She's very weird. No customer service whatsoever. I love that they open up the food trays so you can see your order and see if it's right but at the same time I feel like it's not safe because she's opening up the food with her bare hands and maybe sometimes when she coming out of the restroom like I don't even know if she washes her...
