We recently tried Chef Joe Asian Cuisine and had a mixed experience overall. We ordered shrimp fried rice, beef lo mein, chicken wings, and crispy fried chili chicken. Out of everything, the beef lo mein was definitely the best—flavorful, well-cooked, and the kids really enjoyed it. However, the rest of the dishes were just average compared to what we’ve had at other authentic Chinese restaurants.
The shrimp fried rice didn’t have much flavor, and the chicken wings were a bit plain, lacking the seasoning and crispiness you would expect. The crispy fried chili chicken was decent but not particularly memorable. While none of the food was terrible, most of it didn’t stand out or make us want to rush back for those specific dishes.
On the positive side, the restaurant itself has a pleasant environment. It’s quiet, clean, and family-friendly. The waitress who served us was very nice, attentive, and friendly, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. Pricing is also reasonable, making it a decent option if you’re looking for a casual, affordable meal.
Overall, I’d say Chef Joe’s is good for a quick bite and great service, but the food could use more authentic flavors to...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to try Chef Joe's Asian Cuisine for an early Sunday afternoon meal, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t very busy, which allowed us to be seated immediately at a spotlessly clean table. The staff greeted us warmly, handed us menus, and promptly took our drink and food orders. The service was impressively quick—our dishes arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully prepared in no time. We started with the soup, which was a standout and set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered General Tso's chicken, while my friends went with the sesame chicken and the chicken with broccoli. Every dish was delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. We all agreed it was some of the best Asian cuisine we’ve had in a while. Though the restaurant wasn’t crowded when we arrived, a few more customers trickled in during our visit, and we noticed several takeout orders being picked up. It’s surprising this place isn’t busier given the quality of the food and service. Overall, Chef Joe’s Asian Cuisine exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be returning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for...
Read moreVery Meh about my experience here today. Walked in and it was insanely quiet and that’s with guests…Like when the entire class is taking a school test lol Ordered to go and food was decent in taste (Orange Chicken and Lemon Chicken) served fresh and hot and wait time wasn’t bad. But biggest complaint is that Food is served in a small meal prep container so portions are super small and not worth the $15 as it doesn’t even come with egg rolls. $10 would be more appropriate. Another complaint, order was placed very slowly and repeatedly back correctly but when I got home, both plates were the same and one should have had chicken and broccoli so I was kind of sad there as that’s my fav. Egg rolls were really good though (just small and skinny) although shaped like spring rolls. I asked for my rice plain no onions. Overall, this wasn’t terrible but likely wouldn’t return as $40 wasn’t...
