I used to love this place but have to change my review after continuing to witness poor leadership decisions that negatively impacted not only the baristas but the service received as a customer.
Sure the drinks are good and their social media paints a fun-loving image, but behind the curtain of this particular stand is an under-developed staff, bad attitudes and piss poor leadership.
The stand has been a revolving door of employees who come and quickly go due to poor treatment, no development and negative attitudes from the tenured staff.
Customers who don’t tip have been laughed at, called names and gossiped about when they drive away. If they’re known “regulars” some employees will refuse to work the window simply to avoid dealing with them because “they’re cheap and don’t tip”.
The concerns of negative attitudes have been reported to the lead manager but nothing ever comes of it. Instead, those who make reports are targeted until they quit or get fired.
I firmly believe that the way people are treated matters and after 2 years as a “loyal customer” I refuse to spend another dollar...
Read moreI had an incredible experience at On The Grind thanks to Jay! From the moment I pulled up, Jay greeted me with genuine energy and a huge smile that instantly made my day better. I was having a rough morning and unsure of what to order, but Jay was super patient and helpful. He asked me a few questions about what I liked and then gave me a few awesome suggestions that matched my taste perfectly.
He recommended a drink I had never tried before, and let me tell you, it was amazing! Jay clearly knows the menu inside and out and genuinely wants customers to walk away happy. On top of that, he was kind, upbeat, and fast, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like that, especially so early in the morning.
Jay made me feel like more than just a customer he made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time there. On The Grind is lucky to have him, and I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the great coffee but for the great service Jay...
Read moreCoffee Adventures #2 I was next at the shoe store, when I saw this cute little coffee shack. And if you know me, I love coffee. This place is a bit hidden and of course it's by a Dutch Bro. coffee shop but I personally prefer this little box better. •1st time I ordered the Mexican Mocha. Very delicious I must say and it has a similar taste to the grandma's hot chocolate. •2nd Time was the 6shooter. This bad boy is on the bitter side but it will get you moving. The Carmelo was more on the sweet side. It was very smooth. •3rd, I just had to get my sister in law one. So she went for a blended Carmelo and I went for an iced Mexican Mocha and my boyfriend got the blended Big Tex. All of them were still delicious even though this time it was cold beverages. They also give you this stamp card, after your 10th drink you...
