Came to pick up a few pizzas to go while attending a track event at nearby UTSA. There were a few customers picking up orders, so was able to order right away. They had about 10 different pizzas already made for individual slice orders, but I needed a few large pizzas to go. Ordered extra large sizes of The Works and Margherita Pizzas. Was quoted 15 minutes, so did some quick shopping at HEB next door. Came back 15 minutes later and pizzas were just coming out the oven. They asked if I wanted any peppers and cheese and I was on my way. Opened pizzas about 10 minutes later and they were still hot And looked great. Pizza was as expected of a New York style with a thin and crispy crust. There were 8 large slices in each and was perfect for sharing amongst 7 people. An average meal would be 2 slices. Ingredients were fresh and plentiful on each pizza. Would come again for a good New York style pizza.

Yahgis is literally the best pizza in San Antonio. They are just as good as pizza in actual NYC. Super fresh ingredients and the pizza is always delicious. Capos is second best in SA. If you are at yahgis and you get the chance talk to Dan he’s a really nice guy with great taste in music and some fun stories. Me and my boyfriend moved to a new apartment but before that we always used to go talk to him after shopping at the HeB and we would actually look forward to going grocery shopping so we could go get pizza after. I ordered online and left a note in the instructions- “thanks we love you!” And the entire restaurant left us all a nice love note on the pizza box! Man I miss this place keep up the good work y’all!

I have been a fan of Yaghi’s for a long time and over the years nothing has changed. Since the beginning it’s been great thin crust pizza and at a very great value! It’s hard to beat their thin crispy crust if you love thin New York style pizza. If you have not tried Yaghi’s put it on your list and you will not be disappointed. The staff has always been friendly and it’s located next to a HEB so plenty of parking. There is some bar seating inside and a few little tables outside that are great for lunch in the fall when it starts to cool down. Give this place a try!

Update Went the other day with my son when we got a 18-inch pepperoni and meatball. My last review was just Bland on the pizza, and it still remains the same. The pizza was so raw you could not pick it up. So much flop all the cheese and toppings with slide off. So much grease that it didn't even look like cheese when it slid off it look like hot goop. Quite disgusting actually. No sauce on the pizza whatsoever. My son likes his sauce so he asked for extra marinara and they charged him $0.81 per little container. The audacity to charge for marinara when you put no sauce on your pizza to begin with. Somehow you tend to have some following I guess those people don't have a taste for good pizza. I'll even come back and show you how to make pizza. With four guys back there in the kitchen they certainly don't know how to make good pizza. This was horrible. I will not be coming back.

Unfortunately I didn't get to share any pictures tonight. Pizza is good. Toppings, cheese. It does lack a little flavor with the sauce it is bland but it works... I prefer a bit more tang in my sauce. Now for the crust. It is a good crust that's not very thick and the bones are not full like baguette bread. Just right but it is soggy disappointingly soggy crust. And with the cheese and the toppings extremely greasy. Now that being said the pizza is good here. But the quality is nowhere near the price you pay. I expected much better quality Pizza for the price I paid. And I'll tell you this much right now you certainly do not have the best pizza here in town I can name seven other places and their prices are much better than yours as well as quality. Adjust your prices or improve your quality. $24 for a medium 2 topping pizza. Next is there chicken wings. 18.99 for a dozen. It's just chicken wings. Their sauce is good and their chicken wings are larger than the average size Wings such as Wingstop or Hooters. Bigger is not necessarily better which most of the pieces were fatty. So spitting out close to half a chicken wing. People want value and quality for their money. Especially in this covid time. Since restaurants keep raising the prices. You neither have the value or quality for the items you sell. I see you went up and prices on your toppings and this is recent. Pretty pathetic of you. I will tell you this much their pizzas decent at best. But I'll take a big box pizza place for a much cheaper price in the same quality than paying what you get here. By the way the boy that works at the front counter. Has a snooty attitude. That really destroyed the night. The young lady, she tried to help and I can...

Best by the slice in town, worth every penny. Only advice is go early afternoon when all the pizzas are fresh so you can get a seat inside, there's only a few stools at the bartop. Great five dollar lunch special. Also does excellent hot subs, try the chicken parma. I was the first customer back when their doors first opened. Order menu items as is--no mods--you won't regret it!!

Edit: Original review was '17, now it's 2022 and they only deliver via DoorDash. The app does not let you edit orders or pizza toppings and until they fix it I have no longer been ordering delivery. Highly inconvenient and lost my football sunday business. I previously ordered delivery knowing 100% of my money went to the business and now that they're using a 3rd party I only pick up so money stays in the business, inconvenient but it is what it is. Tried reaching out to their management to express concerns but it proved impossible after 6+ attempts. Greatly saddened by such a goated spot not being responsive to their biggest customers. I also miss Dan's customer service, that employee and his son was a gem. Inflation is also real, but their pricing has gone way higher than inflation on everything not pizza or soda. Still good food, but service tanked. Sad I couldn't talk to any management or the owners about it after being their day one customer, but it is what it is. DoorDash menu is still messed up, gave up trying to communicate with them. Sad because I'm pretty sure up til they went on DoorDash I was their biggest customer and couldn't get a response from any manager regarding issues still not fixed. I miss OG Yaghi's. ;(

Amended from all 5* to 5* food and...

Terrible experience and rude cashier person. We walked in and some man was talking to two other men which is fine, but then he started making weird comments like "im on drugs" right at us as if that would comfort us for his later ramblings and was making weird comments about the Bible and the Quran and talking to us like we were in on the conversation from the beginning. He didn't even get the quote right he said some stuff like "do unto others as you would do unto your worst enemy" It was unnerving and weird. We ordered a pizza for pick up and we were trying to get in and out as possible and he was holding us there like rambling about nonsense. Then he began to talk about trans people and making gross comments about Kaitlyn Jenner, which no matter what someone thinks about her, is just gross and not something you tell customers. And to make matters worst, my friend that was with us is trans, and she was incredibly uncomfortable with all the remarks. The man was making comments regarding "cross dressers" and constantly being rude towards trans people as a whole. Pizza was fine or whatever. Im never coming back here because...
