UPDATE: I bumped this up to three stars as the owner of the store contacted me immediately the next day apologizing for what happened saying that the manager should not have handled it that way, and offered me another sub the way I actually wanted it. If the experience is good when I go tomorrow, I will update again to an even higher star count. A+ to the owner for good customer service.
I ordered a sub here through GrubHub and specifically requested no dressing on it. No where on GruhHub did it say anything about what else comes on the sandwich, like mayo and mustard. Due to a food allergy I can't have mayonnaise and when I called the store back to ask why that was on there the manager who was really rude told me all the sandwiches come with that and I had to specifically request it without it. I told her on the GrubHub menu it doesn't say anything about mayo or mustard so how, as a first-time customer, could I request something that I didn't even know existed when it wasn't even on the menu? She also said she knew nothing about GrubHub. Seems like the manager of a store would know something about the services they are delivering right? Well, I've reported this location and the manager to corporate, to the franchise owner and to GrubHub themselves and I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Read more1st time coming to a FireHouse and my experience wasn't that great. I had downloaded the app and it gave me a Free medium Birthday sub cause my birthday was coming up so I decided let me try their subs cause I usually get mine at Subway. I go in they greeted me and when I get in line the girl comes up and ask me what I was going to order so I tell her it was my 1st time and I had a coupon for a free sub, she then asks me if I had already activated the coupon in my app so I ask her how to do that and she seem kind of frustrated. So I tell her I wanted to try the tuna sub and she asked if that was going to be fully loaded so I say Yes which I thought it meant with all the veggies. So then I see the sign which explains the add-ons with no charge but you have to tell them before they place your order. So I tell the girl can you add jalapenos to my sub please and she made a ugh sound and roll her eyes like if she was really annoyed by me not knowing their process. Read more1st time eating at this location, we had just moved here from out of town this past week. Everything went well for the most part, order was made timely manner, & seemed like a constant flow of orders were easily being made (walk-ins, call in togo) by the plentiful employee help on hand for a 230 Monday afternoon. When my order was received I asked the preparer if everything was in there, completed, again I asked if they were sure and I was assured it was checked and all was there, specificallythe condiments needed. Well it wasn't. Okay I understand things happen BUT during times like this it just seems people are so carefree that its no big deal to be sure about the service and quality they are providing. And to become sure, I appreciate the 10%off next order offer or whatever you want to do BUT I'm not driving back when each time, especially people of age and health concerns have to venture out for something that should have been done snd checked the 1st go around.
