If you're on the hunt for delicious and authentic Indian street food, look no further than the Nasta Indian Food Truck! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing their culinary delights, and I'm already planning my return trip.
Food: Nasta's menu is a vibrant celebration of Indian flavors. I started with the Pakoda, and it was an absolute explosion of taste and texture. It was a true taste of India! I also couldn't resist trying their Chicken Apitizer. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the sauce was creamy and rich. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. They also had a great selection of vegetarian options, which I appreciated.
Service: The staff at Nasta were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer my questions about the menu and offer recommendations. They were efficient and got my order ready quickly, even though there was a small crowd. Their friendly demeanor and genuine passion for their food made the whole experience even better.
Atmosphere: While it's a food truck, Nasta creates a fun and inviting atmosphere. The truck itself is brightly decorated with colorful artwork, and they often play upbeat Bollywood music, which adds to the festive vibe. It's a great spot to grab a quick and tasty lunch or dinner with friends or family.
Overall: Nasta Indian Food Truck is a must-try for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. I highly recommend checking them out – you won't be disappointed! I know I'll definitely be back for more of their...

I had the pleasure of visiting Nasta – The Indian Food Truck during our visit to San Antonio, and I must say, it’s one of the best food trucks I’ve come across for authentic South Indian flavors, both in the morning and late at night!
🌅 Morning Tiffins: I tried a variety of items and each one was spot on:
Idly – Soft and fluffy, just like home.
Ghee Karam Podi Idly – Packed with flavor, the ghee and podi combo was heavenly.
Mysore Bonda – Crispy outside, soft inside – perfectly done.
Button Karivepaku Podi Idly – Unique and delicious, with a rich curry leaf aroma.
Masala Dosa – Crisp, golden, and generously filled.
Guntur Karam Podi Ghee Masala Dosa – Spicy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive!
🌙 Late-Night Delights (Yes, at 12 AM!): When every other place was closed, Nasta was still serving hot and tasty food. I tried:
Paneer 65 – Crispy, spicy, and full of flavor.
Chicken Pakoda – Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and fried to perfection.
Guthi Vankaya Pulav – Bursting with traditional Andhra flavors; eggplant lovers will rejoice.
Paneer Pulav – Aromatic and rich, a great vegetarian option with chunks of soft paneer.
🔥 The best part? Consistent taste, generous portions, reasonable pricing, and friendly service – even late at night.
Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or looking for flavorful midnight bites, Nasta is your go-to destination. Highly recommend giving them a...
Read moreI highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for authentic Indian street food. We live in Florida and visit Texas occasionally and heard this place was a non negotiable to try and so far we’ve already been here twice within a week and definitely plan on visiting again. The food is fresh and authentic, portion sizes are very decent, and customer service is outstanding. I would also like to give the owner, Mr. Abdul an honorable mention and commend him for his unwavering hospitality. He truly made a genuine effort to ensure we had the best possible experience during our meal by regularly checking in with us, making recommendations of the best menu items, and even insisted and provided us Pulav (a fried rice dish marinated in various spices) as a complement with my main dish, and gave us a warm welcome and greeting before we left. Mr. Abdul truly makes an effort to get to know each of his customers on a personal level and build rapport with his community, which is what sets this establishment apart from other businesses that purely care about revenue. I would highly recommend trying the goat / lamb curry along with the Roti and Pulav. Overall, if you’re in the San Antonio area and are craving Indian food, look no further than Nasta...
