Burger King — Restaurant in San Bernardino

As I have done for the last 3 plus years on Wednesdays, I take my grandkids tom this BK location after school. Usually, we go inside since they want to play in the play area. Today we were running late, and I decided to use the drive thru. I gave my order with coupons, the first 2 were no issue when I ordered the third item, I was told I could only use 2 coupons in the drive thru. I was further told that I would have to come inside to use the third coupon. I had to pull thru and go inside, I asked to speak to the manager. I asked the manager why there were no signage posted at drive thru informing customers of this coupon policy, further there is no mentioning of this policy on the coupon flyer. She stated that she did not know and that it was a policy she was told by corporate to enforce. I have no issue with store policy if I had prior knowledge or if there was some type of signage informing me of this policy. Having to place an order at the drive thru and then having to park then go into the restaurant to complete my order is ridiculous to say it politely. This is a complete failure of reasonable customer service, and a total waste of time for the customer as well as the employees.

Speaking of employees, as I was waiting for my order I observed the following. An employee (name tag read STACK) was loudly complaining to another employee that was about to start his shift about what a "rigged" place this was, and he was still waiting on a promotion. Both employees continued to speak rather badly/negatively of the restaurant. The same employee then went from the front counter to the kitchen/prep area without washing his hands and handled food items. The were 2 employes working the front counter and the drive thru window, both were dressed rather poorly and nowhere near what an employee serving customers should be attired as. The employe working the drive thru had rather long hair and a beard but no hairnet of any kind. The entire counter area looked rather shabby and very unprofessional; I also notice a fair amount of debris on the floor in the kitchen/prep area. Overall, I was not impressed with my visit to this location, just the whole coupon issue in the drive thru and the conversation of the employees in front of customers was anything but a pleasant experience. I have been going to this location for years. The employees have always been very nice & friendly. Lately when I go to this location (3235 W Little League Dr, San Bernardino, CA 92407), there is a "new" General Manager that I recognize from another San Bernardino BK who is very loud & rude to her employees. I saw her yelling at a cashier & calling her names & saying things like, "Why are you so stupid?!!". A customer asked the manager for extra condiments & she turned & said to the woman beside her, "Get her some damn ketchup & salt lazy a$$!" I was shocked since the manager was in fact standing right next to the condiments! You can hear her yelling from the tables when she is in the back. I honestly felt sorry for the employees working with her as she was so rude & unpleasant to work with. I believe her name was Carolina, she said she was the store manager. Someone needs to address her "people skills" as she is always in a bad mood when we visit.

Talk about lethal. This place is disgusting. We don't go to Burger King so we weren't sure what to order. After swatting away all the flies from my face I looked at the menu. The pictures looked very tasty. Ordered a whopper meal. My wife tried to order a buffalo chicken sandwich but the cashier said that particular sandwich made her stomach feel funny (lol wierd). After buying $57 in miscellaneous items we sat down to feast. After the second bite I knew I'd be in for a rough night. Woke up four hours later to the sound of beep...beep...beep...I was in the freaking Emergency room. Contracted a lethal dose of food poisoning. Our three boys were all sitting in the waiting room with green faces and extremely ill. My wife was in another room. Apparently she had the squirts so bad the doctors we're fearful for her life.
