Castañeda's Mexican Food — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Unfortunately I will not return due to lack of customer service! We live nearby and have eaten there frequently... new years eve we ordered several items and when we got home and ate my daughter asked me to taste her cheese quesadilla because it did not taste right... it didnt! The cheese was not right and when I opened my taquitos I smelled the cheese and it had a mildewy odor. We packed up the food and took it back and then turned away because they did not have a different package of cheese to open and use if new product was made nor was the girl working authorized to give a refund. We took food home and placed in fridge to deal with the next day (today). I called and asked to speak to a Manager and he was unable to communicate with me in English... spoke to another woman and was told it was jot there policy to replace bad food (even if I could bring back all of our uneaten food). After a few minutes of debate she agreed to allow me to bring food back to be replaced... but I believe she agreed only because she was irritated with me and wanted conversation to end. My girls and I decided we would not be taking the food back to be remade for fear of anything gross being done to the new food while being prepared out of spite. Very dissatisfied and now tossing $25 of uneaten...

If you go inside you will get a masterpiece if you order the Asada fries. Drive thru rushes so they haven't been as good. Go inside and order you will be pleased. I recently went here. It is not the place it used to be at all. I ordered Asada Fries. I asked the cashier 3 times to make sure my fries are done. I got home and my fries were not done. I called and told them I was bringing my order back because my fries were not done. Once I got there I said forget the Asada Fries just give me 3 tacos w/ sour cream and guacamole. Mind you my order was messed up. My gas coming ALL the way back. The cashier who messed up my order had the AUDACITY to try to charge me for the sour cream and guacamole and told me she can give me 2 tacos. I said give me my money back. POOR SERVICE NO LONGER A GOOD PLACE TO EAT. IT USED TO BE CALLED SANTANAS. IM SOOOO DISAPPOINTED. I just went an ordered 2 bean burritos with no cheese, and two sides of beans and rice. The lady in the drive thru messed up and charged me for only one of each side. The chef put cheese in my burrito! You've got to be kidding me?! Its not that hard to take an order and follow through with that order. I didnt even know the sides has cheese in them and I saw it through the bag and I told the lady I dont want cheese on those sides. She says very rudely "you didn't tell me that, you only said for the burritos". Well first, they didn't even get the burritos right. Secondly, nowhere on the menu, where the sides are, does it say if it has cheese in it.

Not only was the service very rude, but my order was wrong. I wouldn't even be so mad if the lady was at least courteous. I would have just shrugged it off and went back and said "hey guys, you messed up on my order". I will not be returning to...
