I went inside to order takeout. The app on my phone wouldn't allow me to use my rewards to pay. When I asked the manager why he said with an attitude and demeaning tone, "I don't know. You have to ask 'them'." I asked who is "them" and he said the "app people". I paid $32 for my order and while waiting I was looking on my app to find out how to contact "them". After a few minutes I saw a bag on the counter and asked if it was my order. The manager said it was and that he had called my name. I told him I didn't hear my name called. I asked for his name for when I'm able to contact "them" (the app people) and he said "George". As I was walking out the manager said, "Well, you don't listen." This was obviously directed at me so I went back to let him know I heard his rude remark. He was walking into another room or walk-in freezer and didn't so much as look my way or acknowledge me. I've never been treated so horribly as a paying customer and by the manager of all people. I contacted corporate and filed a complaint. Read moreI went through drive thru ordered a Double Chicken Salad, Avocado Chipotle Burrito, Small Mac& Cheese, when the employee said $32 on through the speaker, I thought he meant $22, as I got to the window he repeated $32 for my 3 items. I simply asked him the price of the Mac & Cheese, then asked him to remove it. Then a young lady, walks over, and says over his shoulder, "the prices were up there" and walked away, then I handed the male employee my $2 off coupon, once he handed me my food, I immediately noticed the chicken on my salad was darker brown, and looked stailed, which didn't look appealing as I order his salad regularly at another El Pollo. I then ask the male to Void the transaction and take their food back. Then the female lady walks over and tells me that because I used a coupon, she couldn't refund me my entire purchase amount, which baffled me...so I eventually had to tell her I wanted my full refund. Read moreHad a bad experience not once but several times, I am speaking on my moms behave, she went and ordered a pollo bowl no onions or cilantro she got home and went to eat her bowl full of onions and cilantro, she tried to pick,it out and took it to George the manager, whoreponded with a smart ass comment that because they get busy it happens? Really, he gave her credit for a different bowl. Today she went to redeem the bowl promised several weeks later and was treated very rude, first,of all they made her get out of her car which,is hard due to recent knee surgery and was told after she got out she needed her receipt, she told them she didn't have it but George told her she didn't need she did not need a receipt. Just ask for him. My mom is not a rude person a retired nurse and did not need to be treated this way. I know its just a 5 dollar bowl but I will go to corporate about this, customer service...
