Living in Verdemont, my wife and I have been wanting to try this place out in hopes that it was a hidden gem. Sure was a disappointment; from the expensive food, to the atmosphere, to the mediocre food, to the nasty drinks, to the hidden fees.... Man, not even sure where to start. Had the ceviche tostada because it was the most affordable thing in the menu. We are talking about $11 quesadilla kid's meals and $23 for moraja plates YIKES!!! Theres a bar separated by glass doors playing loud music with HIGHLY intoxicating people. Yelling all the time and tumbling as they walk to/from the bathroom. I think they tried to muffle the sound by putting on some music at the eating area, but instead they got two different songs equally loud which made things worse. I'm used to having ceviche soaked in lemon, this one was very dried and they threw large boiled octopus chunks on top of the tostada, so the octopus was not cooked with lemon at all. Lots of lime, salt, and tapatio was needed to make the thing edible. I ordered a michelada that was blood red with a splash of beer. I had to asked the waitress if it actually contained any beer at all. Ended up leaving half of it because it was mostly just clamato juice (not kidding), my stomach started hurting. The waitress was nice and most times pretty attentive. We did asked for a 2nd round of chips and salsa but she forgot because her daughter walked in and focused 90% of her attention on her. She got her chips, salsa, and drinks before she came back to check on us to remind her of our order. Other than that, she was good. There are hidden fees for parties of 5 or more, paying with card, and spending under $100 (if I remember right). Sucks to say we will...

Our server Angelica was awful. She was rude, upon coming up to us at first did not smile or welcome us. She I assumed spoke Spanish to us instantly and we don't speak Spanish so we said excuse me, and she curtly looked at us with disdain and disregarded us altogether. She never returned after asking us if we needed refills, or anything. When flagged down to ask for salsa She never returned so my food got cold waiting. The food was not very good either. Bland tasting, rubbery not very warm. My cheese didn't even melt. My Carne asada was mostly grit with fat piles. I tried picking them out but discovered it was more fat than meat so I gave up. The beans had no taste disappointingly, and the cup she put down with no words I assumed wss the salsa for the food was disgusting. The only good thing was the salsa and water there. We came before along time ago and it was much better. Now it's been changed alot and the menu is mostly seafood we noticed. We will not be back sad to say. Please change your attitude Angelica. If your putting more then one star, you haven’t been there. The pineapple drink had no flavor, very Watered down. The shrimp cocktail had no flavor.The chips where stale and when the waitress asked if Everything was ok, I told her the chips where stale and if we could please get some fresh ones...she replied by saying “they are fresh we make them every morning”. Mind you it’s past 7:00pm!!! That means they have been sitting there all day! Well apparently that was enough for no more service for us. Are waitress never came back for anything!!
