WaBa Grill — Restaurant in San Bernardino

So let me first start by saying I was a regular to this location. I went to here about three days ago and got a waba bowl. I waited about 15 minutes for the food to be made (when no one was there). The whole time I was there, the cutting board was sitting there covered in steal juice.....clean the dang board, that's nasty! But that's not even the worst part. I get my bowl and go home. I started eating my bowl at home and everything tastes like fish. After about half way through the bowl, I threw it away because it tasted so nasty. So I called the location and complained. They said they would make it right, so I wasn't going to leave a bad review. So.i come I today to get that bowl they said they would give me for free and the manager essentially calls me a liar, saying that they never cooked fish that day. I hope you realize me taking the time to write this long review that I wasn't lying and now you have earned yourself a bad review. And it's not.the first time you guys messed up either. I ask for no cabbage, and twice you guys put cabbage in my bowl. I also pay extra for avocado and you guys have forgotten that as well. I never complained once! Now you have my complaints and lost a customer who comes three times a week minimum there. The one off kendal is far better...

While being served by molly at this location the following situation occurred.

We came to get 3 meals

waba plate (steak and chicken)

chicken vegetable bowl

steak vegetable bowl

while asking for our meal Molly told us that they were out of steak.

we changed our orders to chicken only orders and I asked if I could get salmon instead of steak, and molly told me she couldn't replace it because the salmon was a signature item.

I then choose instead to get 2 shrimp skewers instead.

while sitting down,  waiting for our meal to be prepared,  we watched as one of the cooks dropped 5 pounds of steak on the cooking surface.

so now I'm sitting here in the waba lobby waiting for our meal,  after the people who arrived 10 minutes after us have already been serviced with What we were told was unavailable to us.

what kind of customer experience is this.

(I'm posting a copy of this on Google review within 48 hours of submitting this if I haven't seen some reasonable resolution to this in that time. )

I gave this company time to respond to how I felt at the situation before deciding to post on this website about how I felt that they handle this. it's been over a week and I have not no response to this situation this is why I feel absolutely justified in giving them...

I have ordered from this place before and the food is really good but I recently started to notice that there’s something wrong with the brown rice every time I order a chicken bowl or salmon bowl. At first the rice tasted a bit off, like kinda like rotten and weird but I still ate it because I thought I was being a bit dramatic and it wasn’t that big of a deal. But like 2 weeks ago I ordered a salmon bowl with brown rice and I got home and I started to eat my bowl. Once I get a bite of the rice it tasted soo nasty, I usually if food taste like not good I’ll still eat it just to not waste food, especially if I bought it with my own money. But I couldn’t take another bite of that bowl I got, the rice taste horrendous. It tasted rotten and mushy, but I literally saw the employees cooking the rice. Which made me think it would taste better since it’s freshly cooked. I have a feeling that this place isn’t sanitary at all and don’t wash their rice pots and cutting boards. I will not order a bowl or plate from this place anymore. But the dumplings are really...
