The sushi is great, but they fell short everywhere else. First, it took our waiter 10 minutes from the time they seated us to to the time they took our drink order. Took another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks. Then, I had to ask the waiter twice how the "all you can eat" thing worked, and they were unable to explain it to me in a way that made sense to someone who had never been there before. I order spicy ramen and a crunch roll, and my lady ordered a "volcano roll", which is the dynamite roll in most places, but their dynamite roll is different. Ramen honestly looked, smelled, and tasted like a $.35 top ramen packet. Noodles were overcooked, bowl was half filled.. I expected it to be something like the picture in the menu. We were also never offered a refill on our sodas, even though the cups were empty, sitting at the edge of the table.. All in all, I would go back again, but the service is not good at all. If you can bare the bad service, you're in for some good sushi.

The food takes a while to come out. If you get all you can eat, you’ll be waiting on each item ordered and it takes a while. They gave us some of the wrong items and never gave us others. They never brought out the edamame. The quality isn’t the best either. The rice is very sticky and mushy. The Washington roll was mostly crab, a stingy smear of avocado, and a SA amount of salmon on top. The Mexican roll was another mushy mess. Gyozas tasted like freezer burn(or the sauce). The volcano roll was ok. Probably the top out of everything else. The empty plates were also not picked up until near the end of the dining. so they started crowding the bar area we were sitting. Once the check came they also took 18% AFTER taxes for gratuity and didn’t mention it until we asked about it. That’s when they said “we take 18% off parties of 5 or more. They should have told you before seating you.” And they never even thought to mention it to us beforehand.

This place is an unexpected joy in San Bernardino. We've been twice. The first time, I wasn't expecting much since excellence in sushi is hard to come by. We were blown away by the freshness, the presentation, and the flavor combinations the Chef put together with different sauces and preparation techniques. The second time we stopped in for lunch was even better. The Chef is a master of his craft and you can easily see that he loves what he does and loves feeding people the most delectable dishes. Both times we were surprised with extra dishes from the Chef that were literally melt-in-your-mouth joy. I can't praise this place enough. It is now my favorite sushi spot for quality, deliciousness, presentation, price and service. Try the baked muscles, ceviche, seared albacore sashimi and more.

Took literally an hour and a half and we still didn’t get our food.

We were a party of 5. We ordered our food at 6:30 pm. Since then, a party of 10 came in, ordered, and got their food. Numerous couples came in, ordered food, got their food, finished their food, and left. All this happened and we didn’t receive our food yet. We asked numerous times if our food was coming out soon and they kept saying “yeah it’s almost ready.”

8pm. An HOUR AND A HALF went by after we ordered, and still nothing. We finally gave up and left. Time we’ll never get back.

I couldn’t believe it. It didn’t even feel real. Who does that? Who serves so MANY other parties of various sizes before the party that came in first?

If you go here, just know it’s an absolute roll of the dice whether or not you’ll get your food at all. You might have to wait an hour and a half or even more. I’m sure the food would probably be great, but there’s absolutely no guarantee you’ll even get. Enter at...

I had high hopes for Sushi Tomo, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years. The fish tasted far from fresh, dull, watery, and with an unpleasant aftertaste that made me question whether it was handled properly. The rolls fell apart the moment I picked them up, and the rice was mushy and overcooked.

The service was just as disappointing. Our server seemed annoyed from the start, barely checked on our table, and acted like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for basics like extra soy sauce. The wait time for our food was far too long, especially considering how empty the place was.

The atmosphere didn’t help either, sticky tables, dim lighting in a way that felt dingy rather than cozy, and an overall sense that cleanliness wasn’t a priority.

For the price, the quality was unacceptable. I left feeling like I had completely wasted my money. There are plenty of sushi spots in town, and this is one I will never...
