Introduction-
Awesomeness with awesomeness 🌟 This is the closest to Authentic Ramen restaurant I have ever been to in The U.S. Ramen is a Japanese delicacy noodle bowl adopted from China. But, even though the cook is a Koreans, he is master at it. They have Korean side order snacks & bowls too. As an Indian Asian, this is the best Ramen restaurant for me. My friends, family and I will come here again & again for Ramen from now on, as long as they hold their standards.
Quality & experience-
The food quality is of course excellent, The tastes of each of the dishes we ordered are superb! Super service. I know well enough about Japanese food tastes & to order, but for new to Ramen flavors the server will guide you to enjoy your meal. If you want to try out Ramen/Korean food as a first timer, this could be an try-out & 'fall in love with' restaurant for you 💖 The place is clean & tidy. Have separate restrooms for men & ladies and they are clean. Have plenty of sittings.
Menu & price-
They have a very simple menu. Check my pics. So, it's easy to order. Again, ask the server about the broths, if you are not sure. This might make your experiences better. For first timers, you won't be able to know how it is prepared, what is/are in it just from the name. (Even though the descriptions are there.) So ask ask ask to enjoy what you are paying for. In 2024 November, The Ramen prices are mostly $15 and enough for a grown person. If you have a big appetite, then 1 order is more than enough. Other snacks/ side orders are also within $5 to $8. Bowls are $11 to $13. Their serving portion is more than other restaurants. But, no free water. Per 500 ml bottle of water is ¢50 (50 cents)
Business hours-
Their regular business hours are from 11:30 am to 08:30 pm. But I suggest going on daytime or early evening hours as the location swarms with homeless & drug addicts afyer dark.
Location-
Gave a 3 star for Atmosphere because... Located in a nice and quiet part of Highland city. Has a lot of free parking & is wheelchair accessible. But also located close by homeless people's living area. This is also not a good area to be in after dark! The entrance is not welcoming at all & looks like you are going through the back door into the kitchen! But, that’s their set up style. Beside that, the inside area is cozy & very nice.
Overall excellent dining...

Tonkotsu (Top) was given a 5/5 for how great the broth and chashu was. Cloudy, creamy broth that properly compliments the noodles.
The chashu for both orders seemed properly prepared and rich in flavor while remaining very tender.
Extra toppings were corn, egg, and we split an order of extra noodles as it is a large portion. Noodles are made and pressed in house.
Shoyu (Bottom) 5/5 was delicious with its traditional lightly sweet and salty taste. Extra toppings were also egg and bamboo shoots. Green onions are included. Definitely one of the better ramen bowls in the 909.
If you’re in the mood for an appetizer the Jo Style Chicken Wings are a great choice. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside covered in a sweet, tangy sauce.
Their beer is decently priced.
Overall a mind blowing first impression for a small quiet shop in San Bernardino.
Skip the overrated ramen places for once and give...
Read moreI simply can not express just how amazing Ramen Jo is. Everything from the atmosphere and cute wall-art, to the attentive but not at all overbearing host deserves the highest praise. The locale is unassuming and when I you walk in you're taken into what feels like a cozy small town ramen shop. My fiancee and I ordered miso ramen, shoyu ramen, and an order of gyoza. My fiancee spent many years living in Japan and he was even surprised by how authentic and delicious this place is. Everything was so incredibly fresh, rich and flavorful!!! Even the edamame! If you like ramen and Japanese delicacies, do yourself and your friends and family a favor and stop by Ramen Jo. Even if you're new to ramen, try it out! I guarantee you will not be...
