Casa Fresca Tacos — Restaurant in San Bernardino

I would’ve put 5 starts because they’re good was decent enough to be selling “Mexican food” Until I saw the cashier Lorena ( older woman with glasses and purple hair) as being the cashier that handles money, why in the world would you touch and dip your hand into the salsa container to fill up some “to go containers” literally when there is laddle/spoon right next to it!!! I Can wrap my head around this one! MONEY IS FILTHY & for the cashier to be doin that is plain disgusting! Can’t even imagine what other things she does; it’s unacceptable at a restaurant! I Don’t understand if it’s pure laziness in her doing that. But this needs to be fixed, I will definitely not be coming back due to that. Lorena please don’t be lazy and use the laddie to serve salsas instead with your hand dipped into it to grab it with a container!

Order myself some carne asada fries; they prepped them very well and full. Either their sour cream or avocado salsa was off but overall good. Orders tacos de asada,pollo,lengua & cabeza. Insanitary practices - I was there last week and ordered online. When I arrived to pick the order up, they said that they don't use Google and had no recollection of my order. Fine, I order my nachos and am the only one in the store; it's close to 9:00 so they are closing. The older lady touches handles and other equipment then proceeds to grab a hand full of shredded cheese to pile onto my nachos. I ask why they are not wearing gloves and am told that her hands are clean (yeah right). So I tell them not to charge me because I was no longer interested in eating their food. Next week I check my credit card statements and none of the charges were reversed, so I call the phone number and am told that voicemail is not set up. Seriously, why would you not reverse the two transactions that I saw charge to my card after I had to cancel due to their unsanitary practices? This is extremely sketchy and unethical. I would NOT recommend this...

I enjoy the food, delicious; however, the staff can come off as prejudice at times depending who is providing the service. This is because I have had times were I come to eat with my partner, whom some of the staff members are familiar with him, inwhere we are treated with smiles and friendly fast customer service. Yet, during this time of the Corona virus when it was a requirement to wear mask I went to go buy food by myself to pickup an small order and I waited 45mins and the people who ordered after me received their orders before mines. All to which had no mask despite the signs of requirement and social distancing. Overall, the food is delicious just be careful with certain staff members...
