Updated: After visiting other local gyms, I decided to sign up here, considering this was the most cleanliness gym compared to 24H, etc. I have observed staff trying a little harder which is why I am rating it a 4, however my only COMPLAINT HERE IS THE DOOR TO ENTER THE SAUNA REMAINS UNLOCKED 🔓 WHICH MEANS IM PAYING FOR THE UPGRADED SERVICES THAT OTHERS GET TO GET FREE!!!
On my 7th day of the pass, I wanted to sign up for the $1 promotion. As I walked in on 8/31/23 around 4:45PM I walked straight to counter. An employee was making a smoothie, and said she'd be right with me. She was alone in the front desk. I waited about 2 minutes, and told her I'd be back afterwards to sign up. I was already tired from work and didn't want to keep waiting. I walked to the locker room put stuff away, that same employee came to grab me, she said I had to first sign up before working out. At this point I'm bothered! So I told her I do have the guest pass, and of course she tells me I have to go back to the front to sign in, so I stop what Im doing to walk with her, I also said to her I hope I dont have to wait again, all of sudden 4 employees appeared in the front desk. I then said to her, "wow where did they all come from, wished they had been here when I walked in" her response is "you need to have patience" once again I'm bothered, and shocked an employee would tell a customer to have patience, considering I come to the gym exhausted from a long day at work, and plan to have an easy check in, and get my work out. I told her that was rude and disrespectful. I immediately asked for upper management information to report her as she continued to make remarks back and forth. Worst of all, after my workout I showered, and I observed inside 2 separate stalls where you get dressed, in each of them, their is white chair, both stalls had blood drops on the chairs! I ran to the trash can and threw up! One employee observed me throwing up! I was so disgusted. The same employee who I assume was supposed to be cleaning the locker room followed me outside, she then lied to her coworker that she didn't see anything. Of course I took pictures and will send them to upper management.
I'm still debating on signing up for CHUZE, considering I had the worst experience attempting to sign up for a membership. I do enjoy the convenience of location, and I actually feel the equipment here is well kept up! Overall besides this 1 day, I felt I enjoyed coming here. I just feel the employees lack "sense of urgency" rather than catering to the smoothie bar, their should always be 1 employee ONLY focusing on check ins ONLY! Had their been multiple employees or at least 1 extra, when I walked in to help start my membership, rather than making a smoothie for nobody who was even standing in front of her, I feel my review could have been 5. Read moreI've been a member since the 23rd of April. I absolutely love the gym. Staff is always friendly, equipment is always clean. However upon arriving today a staff by the name of Deshaun or Shaun (couldn't really hear him when I spoke to him over the loud music) raised his voice and told us "Ma'am put you mask on" (he was speaking to my mother) I told him my mom had just forgotten to put on her mask on. I was a little bothered by his approach. The way he said it and his tone of voice seemed a little rude even made a few members turn their heads. Regardless we complied and brushed it off and continued walking towards the treadmills, I didn't even have a chance to start my workout before he came up to us again. This time he came up to us and said "I don't mean to be on you guys but our policy doesn't allow members to have bags near or on the equipment during workouts." Again his tone seemed very annoyed. I told him that it was fine and if he can help me put our bags in the lockers. After my mother and I finished using the treadmills we headed over to the StairMaster. 5 minutes into my workout I noticed a young lady on the treadmill in front of me place her sweater and bag on the treadmill next to her and Shaun/Deshaun walked right passed her and didn't say a single thing to her. Also while using the StairMaster another staff who was cleaning the equipment decided it would be okay to clean the equipment I was currently using. I felt very uncomfortable and worried about my safety and as well as hers being so close to the moving parts of the stairmaster. Read moreMrs. Diane in this club is very unprofessional and careless. She is aa kids club worker. I walked in to set up a 7 day pass today to give this gym a try. I called before hand to see what time kids club closes because I was bringing my toddler. I go in 40 minutes before 12 so I could get a 30 minute work out assuming the check in was 15 minutes . Well turns out I did not getone checking in until 11:58 thanks to Ms. Diane's inexperience, lack of interest, rudeness. It seemed as if she didn't want my child to go to kids club. The whole time my toddler is excited tugging at me asking to go to kids club. Meanwhile Ms. Diane is moving slowly asking everyone around her to do the work(check me in) instead of doing it herself. She kept asking me to write info down on a stick note rather than me just telling it to her as she types it in which wasted time. As soon as a guy named Jaden comes in she asks for his help and then says we'll can you do it I'm gonna go" he insists she finishes. I felt really uncomfortable that this woman did not want to help me at all and she wasted 35 minutes so now my first day of guess pass is used and I could not go in because kids club closes. Jaden got me finished up within 6 minutes and was very quick and professional. Ms. Diane definitely needs to stay in her area and due to her poor attitude toward me and my child I will not go to this club and I wouldn't recommend other moms to take their children there.
