I have shopped here for 4 years, off and on. I do not really like this location, due to it not having an actual bakery. But, what happened today secured the fact that I will never shop there again. Last year, I was told by an employee there that I could order the type of cheese I need for my Christmas recipe, I make every year. I called the deli department this morning to order my cheese. When an ignorant woman using street slang and not one ounce of customer service informed me, and I quote, "we no sell that cheese here" I said, I know, which is why I am ordering it. She then said "we no afford that cheese at this store" I, then requested to speak to the store manager, after being on hold for a long time, Julian answered and proceeded to inform me that he will look into ordering my cheese. I then informed him he needed to train his employees in the deli with customer service and grammar. He then proceeded to tell me that we will not talk about his employees grammar, and if we do he will not help me. I, then called the corporate office to complain about their verbiage towards me. I then called Vons deli, and was told they do carry that cheese. Unbelievable! I was raised in a world where hiring quality people is imperative for a successful business, apparently Stater Brothers does not believe that, and believes that their employees ignorance in grammar more important than their customers...
Read moreI need for someone to contact me ASAP from corporate offices as my mom fell in the produce section on December 5th at approximately 11:20 am very hard with her cart toppling over on her due to the horrible logistics of the newly remodeled (smaller) produce section. The section is so tightly packed already & was being stocked at the time by two different store employees. The stocking carts x2 took up a considerable amount of already limited space & forced my mom to have to try to maneuver her cart to exit the limited space in such a manner that it caused her to hit one of the end caps of produce causing her & the cart to topple over & hit the floor very hard. I helped her write up an incident report regarding the accident but more needs to be followed up on. My report was left with the store manager at the Highland/ Del Rosa location... FOLLOW UP: After speaking with a representative from Stater Bros they were extremely dismissive, uncaring and unwilling to assume any responsibility for my mother's horrible fall in their store. I see no other choice but to seek legal counsel. I strongly advise not to support or shop at a store that gives little to no care for their shoppers. Stater Bros you should be ashamed of yourselves for prioritizing store profit above customer safety and well being. I will shop at Albertson's from now on and seek...
Read moreThis place is absolutely, the worst grocery store around. I was assaulted by someone in line the manager, clerks, and security guard just stood there and watched as some crazy person hit me from behind. then the manager on duty said it was a civil matter, and continued to check the person out so they could leave as fast as possible and I needed to call the police and make my own police report. I asked them all to stop the person so I could call the police and they wouldn't help me out. it was the worst experience I've ever had. so now I have a sub concussion and the general manager George sandaval or whatever still hasn't returned my call. so, I'm getting a lawyer to deal with this joke of a store. the detective said they should of detained the suspect that hit me from behind when I was loading my groceries on to the belt for check out. And, they did absolutely nothing to help me so I have to have a detective find out who this person is. And if stater Bros is at fault for not for what happened in their store. I ve been a customer here for twenty years and will never go back, I suggest you don't either. ever this poorly ran store...
