Worst location in town with slowest service. The drive-thru is inadequate, and that, coupled with the fact that the workers are the slowest of any Starbucks I've ever seen, this place is a nightmare. I think they have a new manager who is obviously incompetent. They often get my order wrong. Go anywhere else if you can. The store at Palm and Kendall is about a hundred times better than this disaster. The drive-thru here is a mess, poorly designed, and the staff is ridiculously slow getting the orders out. Last week, I sat behind three cars where every one of them had to give the order back because of mistakes by the workers. There is going to be an accident on 40th St. one of these days because people block the right lane sitting in line at the drive-thru. The worst are the ones who block not only the entrance but the exit, too, and get all testy when you suggest they could move and let people leave the parking lot. The liquor store next door has understandably put up a chain barrier between its parking lot and Starbucks' making the situation even more difficult. Now with the dental office opening next door, this traffic mess is going to get even worse. If the line moved at all, it would be one thing, but it's not uncommon to wait for over 10 minutes to get through the drive-thru line. This means that the right lane on 40th St. can be blocked for 10 minutes at a time, too. The City needs to do something about this place, shut it down or at least require them to redesign the drive-thru. Of course, Starbucks could hire more competent and efficient workers who don't get orders wrong and take forever to make the drinks, but that is probably too...
Read moreHonestly been going through such a difficult time right now and I wasn’t expecting something good to happen but coming here honestly made me want to tear up with how kind the male cashier was. I didn’t have enough for the drinks for my family and me, so I decided to cancel my drink (a strawberry açaí) and still then I didn’t have enough in cents and he let me slide (it was 50 cents) I waited and when I went for my drinks all four drinks were included, and I was stunned and speechless. I looked at the man with thanks and said thank you and I wanted to tear up because I didn’t expect such kindness. I couldn’t thank him properly or catch his name because the time was rushed for me, I needed to go because of my school and such. I would love to thank him properly and let him know that act of kindness didn’t go unappreciated because I appreciated it so much especially today when everything went wrong and unexpected. If Starbucks can contact me I would love to leave a positive review with his name included as well as to thank him properly. I would recommend this place to my friends. This place has kindness and I am so grateful. So please if this Starbucks could contact me so I can properly thank the man, I would greatly appreciate it, and to leave a positive review for him as...
Read moreThis place is conviently located for me. I usually come here so I can have a little extra energy during my graveyard shift. They always mess up on my order! I’ve complained before already but it seems like they are not trying to fix the issue or get better. Today I went in and ordered 3 drinks; 2 custom triple espressos with easy ice and a cup of water with no ice. They only got me down for one custom order My custom orders had EXTRA ICE. Literally the whole cup was just ice!!! The water had ice. They took a while to greet me at the speaker. They also took a while to greet me at the window and you could here background noise of horsing-around.
You guys wonder why we have such attitudes when we come and order but forget how in the past you might have forgotten you messed up. I understand we are all human and we forget or mess up but try to pay close attention. Its not like I ordered 30 minutes after closing. I work at a fast food joint so I get it! That’s why I didn’t return the beverages and had you remake them. Just know I am very upset and disappointed because now I get a diluted caffeinated drink that’s not going to give me...
