After driving by this place almost daily for years, we finally decided to stop and give them a try. It was mother's day and thankfully there was no wait for our party of 5 (should have been our first clue). The menu is sufficient for everyone taste and pricing is standard. We sat in their outdoor space and the waitress took our order and brought our drinks to the table. Keep in mind the place was not packed and there were maybe 8-10 other guests/tables seated. After about 35 minutes, we began wondering why it was taking so long to get our food, but had yet to see our waitress again. We asked one of the other ladies delivering food to another table and was told she would check. A couple of minutes later, we received two plates of food and the toast to a third order. We sat for another 8 minutes (we timed it) before the rest of our order came out. Trying to just enjoy our meal, we simply made a comment to the food runner about the time and went on to enjoy the food, which was simply average at best. Upon finishing, we again discussed the fact that no one had been by to check on us throughout the entire meal. We were done and now trying to flag one of the other employees down for our check. Out of nowhere, here comes our waitress that took our order. Dropped the check and said thank you - not 'how was your meal, 'can I get you anything else'... nothing!!! On top of that, I noticed that they automatically added a 15% charge for a tip...really!!! Plus an option to add more... yeah right. At this point we were ready to go, so paid my check and left. Would I ever go back, NO. Would I recommend this place, NO. There are too many other options in the area and Camino Corner just doesn't seem to care.

El Camino Corner, I'm sure a regular at this place will rave about how great it is. And for the most part it is a nice friendly warm establishment. You have a big open kitchen, where you can see the cooks preparing all the orders, nice big TV's for the TV lovers and a friendly hostess/waitress greeting you as you walk in. They also have nice big windows with a view of El Camino. However the food was mediocre, I ordered the Chorizo scramble with garlic rice and a side order of hot links. This dish also came with a side order of toast. The Chorizo scramble was very boring even with the mushrooms and spinach added on to it, It was very bland. As for the garlic rice, I know garlic rice is supposed to taste like garlic but my goodness they went super heavy handed with the garlic and it had a microwave feel to it. The Buttermilk pancake was ok it was not a fluffy as I like it, they also sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Staff is friendly and there is a very small parking lot that is shared with a Dry cleaners but there is plenty parking on the street. (Just be careful for street cleaning) price is average and if you do check in with YELP you get a free pancake.

I haven't been here in a long while. It's good to know this place is still around.  Upon entering, the place like like it's had a remodel, but the layout is still the same.  You get a more homey and comforting kind of vibe.  The place was pretty busy for early Sunday morning. I was greeted and helped right away by the only lady helping everyone.  She was so happy and very attentive. We ordered: 1.  Breakfast sandwich with bacon, sausage, and ham -   This was amazing.  The bread was nice and crunchy.   It didn't fall apart or get all soggy. Each bite was delicious 2.  Country #2 (mini sampler)- 4 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, ham steak, and 3 eggs.  This was enough to feed a family, lol.   Can't go wrong with this.   Definitely enough to feed at least 2 people. 3.  Crispy pork belly and egg over garlic rice - To be honest, I was skeptical, but it was amazing.  The pork was meaty, not all fat like at some places.  Skin was crunchy.   It was a perfect balance that just kept you wanting to eat more. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

I had to write a review because the food was just that good! I’m currently staying at the Villa Montez Hotel, which is such a gem. This morning, I woke up late and hungry, craving some brunch. I decided to call El Camino Corner after browsing their menus online and ordered the grilled chicken breasts with two eggs over easy, hash browns, and a side of strawberries. When I arrived, the waitress immediately knew who I was, which was such a sweet touch. She asked, “Are you Isabel?” and when I said yes, she told me my food was about ready and asked if I would like anything to drink. She then opened the order in front of me to make sure everything was correct before closing it back up. She was super friendly, made pleasant conversation, ensured I had all the utensils I needed, and asked if I wanted any sauces and gave me hot sauce packets. I also made sure to thank the cook because the food looked and smelled amazing! Once I got back to the hotel and started eating, I was impressed. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft, almost like mashed potatoes, on the inside—absolutely delicious! The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor, and the eggs over easy were done just right, with the yolks perfectly intact, running beautifully over the hash browns. Adding some Tapatio hot sauce made it even better, and the fresh strawberries and water tied the meal together perfectly. This was, without a doubt, one of the tastiest brunches I’ve ever had. I was more than satisfied and had to give El Camino Corner a well-deserved...
