I hope my cheap huspaneti tipped these kids! Grr, I forgot to 🧐👀 him. If I don't tell him to tip sometimes, he just WON'T. I believe in paying it fwd having wkd for tips for 11 years as a DJ. Next time, I will OVER tip to compensate and make up for my young husband's frugality. Someone has to budget. I earn. That's his job to pinch pennies NOT mine. Lol
The otai they made is derived from the same family recipe we have had in OUR family from the Island of Tonga 🇹🇴. They used fresh young 🥥 instead of dried grated baking 🥥 which I LOATHE in ALL things beverage or baked.
I AM a coconut🥥🌴🍹 and very much resemble that remark, so trust me I KNOW what this recipe is supposed to taste like. 😋 my dad is also TOO CHEAP to use real coconut, so GOOD on ya kids for NOT going cheap. No tampico here! They spared no expense on the best freshest ingredients.
Now, I know for sure I don't have to make a family punchbowl or 5 gallon bucket sized congregation amount for just 1 cup of this delicious BETTER than my dad's [Yeah, I just said that in writing to the world, DAD!] homemade otai.
Only be better if they topped me off with fruit, but that's ok. Next taimi, I pay extra and tip big like I usually do when I hold the 👛. They always remember my face and regular order at bars and restaurants for that very reason. I like big portions, great quality, and good value, and I'm not afraid to pay for it! [I DESPISE hagglers.]
I don't believe in "family price" AKA "free." I am a firm believer that if you are good at something, that you should also get PAID commensurately! You go guys! Will hit up your location in Bootah next time we drive through on the Sturgess route. Cheeehoo!!! 👏 🇹🇴
Way to be one of the 1st merchant class Tongans to ever not just open but SUCCEED at continuing your entrepreneurial pursuits and making it work! They say if you last more than 2 years, that you've made it. Through Covid too you guys continued to thrive and find your niche.
Super PROUD of you from all the way up here on Nob Hill, SF. Your Haunty, Stella Ikahihifo Tatola [self-proclaimed Tongan...
Read moreI don’t normally write reviews but this was interesting. Took a chance on this place at random while on the way to the airport. Big mistake. Couple of things, friend ordered no sugar in drink because they are diabetic. Made sure to ask the person making it about making sure there was no sure and assure us there wasn’t. Only to get the drink back that tasted sugary and when asked they said it was the base of the tea mix which we made sure to ask about before ordering. Otherwise wouldn’t have. No apologies or anything. She just looked bothered we were asking about it in the first place. It was near 20 min to make just 4 simple drinks. And we were the only ones in the store during that time too. So they weren’t busy. But There were two what I assume were employees sitting on the side. One got up to even make a drink for herself and went to sit back down. It wasn’t until we got up to ask for how much longer it would take for the other Person to ask the other person making the drinks if she needed help.
I wouldn’t have minded as much for these things if the drinks were even good. Even asking for less sugar it was overly sweet and the bobas taste old and super chewy. And the hot drinks were like warm but taste burnt at...
Read moreI went to this place based on the reviews, and they could not be more deceiving. Not only was I disappointed by their 'milk tea' but I'm more disappointed by the customers who leave such dishonest reviews that mislead others to waste time and money. It's not helpful for the business either because they don't get any true feedback to improve their products and services.
I genuinely believe that the customers who left 4, 5 star reviews have little to no experience with boba milk teas. Hidden among these misleading reviews are the truths left by a few: watery, diluted, tasteless, etc.
Owners of this establishment, I'm really unsure how you'd benefit from offering full refund and other drinks on the house to the customers who left critical reviews. Based on the very basic milk tea of yours I had, I wouldn't come back to your establishment unless the drinks improved dramatically. What I ordered was literally undrinkable. I think you'd benefit a lot from visiting any boba tea shop in Cupertino/San Jose area and trying their counterparts. Perhaps you could offer them yours for real feedback if you're feeling bold. Best of...
