Orchid Room — Restaurant in San Carlos

Great little place to unwind with a few beers in the afternoon. Several beers are on tap plus in bottles. They don't serve any food except snacks so I always bring a sub with me if I am hungry. The decor is subtle but well done. It took me a few visits to notice the old movie posters. They even have shuffleboard for retro enthusiasts (alas no Foosball.) An internet jukebox is always playing with great tunes and is accessible from your phone or the bar's wifi. There are several TVs on for sports fans. They love their dogs in San Carlos and some bring their usually beautiful ones in. Unfortunately some are quite noisy. So I can't give this bar five stars as much...

Have been here a few times, and it's a cool spot.

The staff and patrons have always been polite with me. However, I crossed the line. Last night, I was a coward and blew a chance with a girl elsewhere, and chose to get wasted, harass a woman and try to grab her. I'm lucky I didn't get my butt kicked. I had it coming.
