Me and my friend were frequent visitors to this restaurant. Unfortunately almost entire staff is different now and some of the members are rude.

Today 26th may 2022: We came in at 8.31 PM, restaurant closes at 9.15 (we called in before to confirm that kitchen will still be open).

Reception person yells at us “we are closing soon” when we are getting ready to be seated. I told him we did call in before he just repeated himself.

We had our food and finished at around 9.10, server and person taking our order was nice and kind he is from the old staff.

Then the same reception person passing. I ask him for the check and he was standing right next to me he left me and went to have small talk with someone else. Completely ignoring me (didn’t even look at us or acknowledge )Then came back with check machine and bill.

I was trying to pay thru the machine, then fill the survey afterwards and the person literally pulled the machine from my hands in a very rude way..and I dont know if it went thru thats why I am posting here.

While I understand the frustration and desire to leave on time/early that doesn’t mean treating your customers poorly like this.

As someone who met the owner of this restaurant. I can reassure it wasn’t like this before and people were...

The reason for 2 star is the over smart manager (or may be he was just taking order). Was thinking to highly of himself and being over smart in every sentence he spoke.

Visited couple months back. Not going again.

Me : 1. Cauliflower manchurian. Make sure it’s vegetarian The guy : sir cauliflower is a vegetable grown in farms. So it will be vegetarian. Don’t worry

Me : excuse me, I ordered hot & sour but the waiter got manchao soup. The guy : yeah may be the cook made the mistake, please ask waiter to change it next time he comes to ur table.

Me : can I get full bill with items ordered The guy : I can’t give it to you as we have decided to save paper Me : at least give me receipt of the payment The guy : I can’t as we have decided to save paper Me : but what if you have made mistake in charging us The guy : well till now I have never made mistake so don’t worry Me : well I have had food here 4 times in past and twice there was a minor mistake so why don’t you just confirm the items The guy : let me help other customers first and then you can come to my desk and I will show it to you on screen and u can make payments there

And there more such interactions.

Waiters were good 80% food was also good Experience was ruined...

Very disappointing experience. For a Hakka Chinese aka Indo Chinese restaurant, for the prices that they are charging, the portion sizes are way too small! Example, you get a small bowl of Hakka Noodles barely enough for 1 person, and they charge $13, and that's bland with no meat. The hot and sour "chicken" soup did not have a single piece of chicken. And it was just hot and spicy, no sour taste as it should have been. For $17 we ordered their bestseller chilli chicken. Usually it's the signature dish of every Hakka restaurant. What a huge disappointment with their dish which was again tasteless with almost 50% green peppers instead of all chicken like it should be. As well again the portion size was way too small for $17! We were visiting from Toronto and decided to try it out, as we have many Hakka Chinese restaurants there. We were very disappointed with both the taste and the portion sizes. You always have leftovers after a meal at a Hakka Chinese restaurant. And here we had no leftovers! Back in Toronto we get more than double the portion sizes as compared to this place, and that too for half the price and the taste is authentic Hakka Chinese made with Indian spices. Yet we were very surprised to see this place...

Went there at lunchtime in a group. Service was very well taken care of. Our host seated us promptly and walked us through the options. Service was very friendly and courteous. Food tends to be hot and spicy in general but we were provided an option to make it milder if needed. Great choice for folks that need mild heat but just enough to enjoy the food. Waiter recommended some very good items. Food came really quick to our table probably because we were in early. Presentation was nicely done. We order the Cauliflower Manchurian, Schezuan eggplant and Veg Fried Rice which was adequate for three people. The masala lemonade was a good beverage that went very well with the food. Cauliflower Manchurian was well done with a nice crispy tinge to it. Veg fried rice was mildly dry but just flavorful enough to go with the manchurian. Schezuan eggplant was flavorful yet not spicy given Schezuan dishes in general tend to be hot and spicy in Indo-Chinese cuisine. All in all, time and money well spent. Highly recommend the place for vegetarians! :-)

Good place with limited parking but nice ambience. The overall atmosphere of this restaurant was pleasant and inviting. The limited parking was a slight inconvenience, but once inside, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming environment. Now let's talk about the food. It was simply amazing! The star of the show was undoubtedly the Chilly Garlic Noodles. They were bursting with flavor and had the perfect amount of spiciness. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The Chilly Chicken was also quite good, with tender meat and a delicious blend of spices. However, I was disappointed with their Sweet Lime Soda. It lacked the fizz and soda element, which was a letdown considering it was supposed to be a refreshing drink. Overall, this place deserves a solid 4-star rating. Despite the limited parking, the good atmosphere and incredible food, particularly the Chilly Garlic Noodles, make it a worthwhile visit. Just be aware of the soda issue with the Sweet Lime Soda.

I went to Red Hot on Saturday 6/25/17. I had made reservations ahead of time and we were seated right away. As soon as we were seated I noticed the menu doesn't have variety. Most of it is chicken dishes. I thought they would have more of a variety. So, we ended up ordering a chicken appetizer, egg wrapped fried rice with shrimp, and black pepper beef with onions. It did not take long for our appetizer to come out, and the chicken was delicious. Then our main courses came out. I asked for the black pepper beef to be "mild," but it had absolutely no kick to it at all. It was really good, but it was called a "big plate" but consisted of nothing but a small measly plate that wasn't enough enough for 2 people. The egg wrapped shrimp fried rice was also really good. The manager came around to check on us and he was very nice which I appreciated. All in all: food too expensive for the amount of food they give you, service was good, would not go back.
