The Picnic Cafe — Restaurant in San Clemente

I was searching for coffee shops to try while I am in San Clemente and was super excited to try this place.

I opted for the flowers & cup combo which is supposed to come with a mini bouquet and a 16 ounce coffee for $14. I was surprised when the staff asked me if I wanted a 12 ounce as I’m trying to get the bang for my buck! I ordered an iced salted honey latte and they gave me hot. And had I known they were going to give me 3 roses I would have just gotten the coffee by itself. I'm also not sure what salted honey is supposed to taste like but it tasted like a regular latte.

It's a cute little place but I just left disappointed that's all. But don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly. I think I was just more sad about the 3 roses. I was really hoping for a cute little mini variety bouquet considering that was what was advertised on...

I can't share enough good things about this new place. The decor and the feeling is so happy and positive. The food is yummy (my favorites are The Rivvy and The Fin and all of the smoothies and salads). Their coffee is THE BEST! The smoothies are so beautiful, like works of art (and so are all their other drinks). I bought coffee and flowers for a friend that I was seeing after and she loved them. They also have charcuterie packages to-go and I plan to get that soon so I can walk to the beach for a picnic with my friends and family. Makes a great day in...

i WANTED to love this place. the vibes are great and (i think the owner) came out and was so nice while we waited, even gave us free sweets! however…the bagel was dry (not toasted either) & while pretty& the combo was good- I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR COFFEE/MATCHA. over priced and they seemly don’t know how to steam milk… + the strawberry matcha (featured) was basically just strawberry milk - no flavor of matcha and really not much strawberry either. disappointing for the price but i think people just come here...
