A Coastal Comfort at Beachfire - If you have one stop to make, add it here! Stepping into Beachfire felt like a breath of fresh, salty air, even indoors. The beach-themed tavern ambience struck a perfect balance between casual and chic, with subdued lighting creating an intimate atmosphere. While the lively pop singer in the bar area added a vibrant energy, the main dining room, anchored by a truly majestic walled fireplace, offered a cozy retreat. My meal was a delightful exploration of flavors and textures. The blackened salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and bursting with spice, and paired beautifully with the vibrant spinach salad. The light citrus ranch dressing was a revelation – tangy and refreshing without being heavy. The crispy onion rings were a guilty pleasure, golden and satisfyingly crunchy. A real highlight was the Capacity IPA non-alcoholic beer. I'm often disappointed by non-alcoholic options, but this one was exceptional. It had the full-bodied flavor and hoppy notes of a traditional IPA, making it a perfect complement to my meal. The waitress was friendly & attentive. The option for indoor or outdoor dining is a huge plus, catering to different preferences and weather conditions. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends, a cozy date night, or simply a delicious meal after a day at the beach, Beachfire delivers. The combination of flavorful food, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent non-alcoholic options makes it a definite must-try....
Read moreI really enjoyed the food from this place. I have found it difficult to be impressed with food during the Corona virus ordeal from restaurants. I phoned in my order, was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I strolled over the few blocks to collect, paid with my CC and was on my way very timely (Thursday evening). Enjoyed my meal at home, and thought that I might want to eat from there again before my work in the OC area was complete. Less than a week later while reviewing my CC statement, I noticed that the number charged on my ticket from the restaurant and the number on the CC listing was off. Apparently the young brunette girl at BeachFire decided that she needed an additional $30 tip on top of the $34 bill. Not sure why anyone should be tipped $30 for handing a plastic bag of food over a counter... Quite disappointing to say the least. CC company will deduct the $30 tip that the young lady felt she needed without my affirmation. I do hope there are some professional consequences that come her way. Things like that should not be glossed over. My recommendation if you choose to eat here, is bring cash. It's sad when your confidence is lost in something you...
Read moreBeachFire Bar & Grill is a true local gem. It’s one of our favorite spots—laid-back, welcoming, and full of charm. Whether you’re heading to the beach or just want to hang out and enjoy live music, this is the place. It’s the kind of spot where us locals love to gather, and it never feels stuffy or pretentious.
I had the pleasure of getting a private tour from Sergio, who’s been with the restaurant for 23 years. He calls it his second home, and his passion shines through. He shared the story behind the wood throughout the restaurant—salvaged from the Mission in San Juan Capistrano—which adds a layer of history and warmth most people don’t even know about.
The current owner, Edgar Carbajal, is also a local who started as a young bartender and worked his way up to owning the place. You can tell the entire team loves where they work and takes pride in what they do.
Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, friendly faces, and live music—this is everything a great community spot should be. Can’t...
