Asia Wok — Restaurant in San Diego

Once in a blue moon, you find a Chinese Restaurant that is just Good and CHEAP. I personally did not dine in, I ordered through Postmates. The place was very clean. When I went in I actually witnessed my first impression of costumer service, a lady ordered "A piece of fish" And the gentleman gave her a piece of the fried fish fillets they offered and she threw a plethora of coins probably from a cupholder. The employee was counting as fast as he could and rung her out. She then decided she wanted a different slice of fish because this one "was cold" (keeping in mind she had been standing there for a good 5 minutes summoning this change from her big purse while she had the fish in hand, and another minute or so while the change was counted) the server kindly gave her a new peice of fish and threw the old one away, which highly reflects on the way they run the restaurant. I ordered sushi, which was pretty fresh and good, it was well constructed and made for the price (9/10). I also ordered pork in garlic sauce and orange chicken, noodles, rice, Eggrolls, rangoons. You see, I took a big jump and ordered a lot of food without knowing. But the rice was delicious, all the food was fresh and very well prepared. Would go again and I highly recommend this place if you are feeling nostalgic for that East Coast...

I was disappointed with this location because the one on Euclid Ave is better and that's where I usually order from but since I did a online order for pick up at the marketplace location only because my son works near there, big mistake! My order was missing an item and since it goes through postmates.com, it has you go through their website and I guess they have it rigged because I couldn't figure out how to let them know that an item was missing because it didn't let me type anything in and the Asia wok website doesn't give you a phone number to call. My son was able to find a phone number and I called them to let them know that a item was midding and they should be liver it since it was their mistake and they told us we had to go back and get it if we wanted it! The beef and broccoli look like it had old broccoli and some fresh broccoli and the reason why I started ordering at Asia wok on Euclid Ave was because they always used fresh broccoli and it was better then any other Asian restaurants. I have been to this location a few times and the food is good and the service has been OK until today. First when I walked in two of the employees were to busy talking that I stood there for awhile then had to say something to them to get someone to help me. Then after I ordered my food and was going to pay I said all I have is $100 do you have change and the girl did not respond. And so I said it again and she answered with attitude NO! Then I said well I have $6.00 and the total was $6.76 the girl was frustrated that all I had was $100 and she could not break it. The other employee said that's OK and took the $6.00 I said she did not have to be rude it was not my fault she did not have change. She then said whatever and started slamming things around. I then put the bag back on the counter and explained to the guy I will never come here again because of her. And I won't no matter how good the food is that was unacceptable.
