Amazing authentic food and great service!

Parking: There’s limited parking but at 12pm on a Monday, I didn’t have trouble finding one. There’s lots of construction around the area which made it a little difficult to get to the place but please don’t let that deter you from coming! They are very much open and you won’t be disappointed.

Ambiance/service: There were 2-6 person tables available and it seems the tables can be pushed in together to accommodate for a larger party. All indoor seats. The place was bright and clean. Our party of 2 got seated right away. Martin was our wonderful server and was helpful, patient, and accommodating. Food came out very fast!

Food: We ordered a lot of food and we were stuffed and satisfied after our meal! The table has spicy and flavorful salsas available plus they provide a bowl of diced onions, cilantro, and limes. There were lots of promising items on the menu but we ended up ordering the following:

*1/2 Orden ($11.95): beef stew served with fresh tortillas. I added salsa to add more spice but the stew itself was very flavorful!

*Quesadilla Guadalajara ($8.95): 1 beef birria and chicharron served in corn tortilla with cheese. Decently sized and loaded with a hefty amount of meat.

*Tuetanos ($11.95): 3 bone marrows served with a small cup of Orden and tortillas— holy crap y’all have to get this. The bone marrows were huge and the price is very reasonable.

*Horchata ($3.95): delicious and not too sweet.

Overall: I’m very impressed with this restaurant and I will definitely come...

I so love Birria de Chivo(Goat) they just barely opened this place, and the reason i knew about it is because I passed by there and had to try it, ive been going to the one in Chula Vista and this one is closer. I always order tres fuegos level number 3, you choose how spicy you want it. To me this is the best goat Birria in SD., the only thing ive noticed is if you order theyll add more macisa meat unless you ask them not to, i go for softer meat and ribs.. But they never really add ribs wmeat just the bone, and the meat is always whipped.. I wish they wouldnt whip it to much so you can see whole bigger pieces of meat.. I still love the fresh flavor of meatand how they add frijoles de la olla, the cafe de la olla yumā™„ļøšŸ˜‹šŸ and handmade tortillas. I love coming here, works for hangovers lol.. They have beef Birria, Menudo wich is also yummy. I would recommend...

If you don’t know the name already then you’ve been living under a rock for some time, joking. To have this location in City Heights not only adds more flavor to our neighborhood but it’s amazing to see family owned restaurants continue to thrive. The staff was wanting and willing to ensure an amazing experience while here on Opening Day. The space is very well lit with natural and atmospheric light that adds to such a delightful dining experience. The menu will help tap into whatever craving you may have for this type of restaurant and let me tell you, the portions are generous. The table was quickly cleared of any plates or bowls to ensure a clean and spacious table. I’m very happy to welcome Birrieria Y Menuderia Guadalajara to the neighborhood and can’t wait to stop...

Tried this restaurant for the first time and I ordered for take out. To start, the onion and cilantro that was given was rotten and stinky. I had ordered Menudo and there was hair all over it. All within the meat as well as floating in the soap. This did not look like hair that’s grown on a head it looked more similar to facial hair if anything. When we came back to return it he had put out the possibility that we had put our own hair in it. After showing pictures and videos he had given us a refund in cash when we payed with card. Safe to say I would not come here again nor recommend.

Came here to to have some authentic Mexican food. Where do I start, the customer service that Martin provided was amazing!!!! We ordered menudo, taco de tripa and chicharrón. The menudo has been by far the best I have had in any restaurant. It was full of flavor and very clean. Not greasy at all and you can tell it was fresh. The tortillas hechas a mano were delicious. The tacos will speak for themselves on the pic. The Michelada had a good kick to it!The food was full of flavor and I will definitely make the drive out here to have another delicious meal.
