Went here twice to make sure the dish is consistent.

The beef satay egg noodles here is the best I have tasted in SD. The noodles were nice and firm. The sauce has a balanced peanut and spicy flavor. Although during my first visit, it was spicier than what I like. I requested a less spicy version during my 2nd visit and it was perfect! I am not sure what it's called, but theres a soybean(?) thing they have that you can add to the dish which adds a slight different flavor.

The dish also comes with bone soup. The soup is light, but flavorful. The meat is really tender and almost melts in your mouth. I like this one compared to the ones around the area because it's not as fatty.

Still reading? Beef satay noodles. Get it! The tofu and calamari were decent. I can't recommend other dishes since I have not had them...yet.

Update: Kitchen cant keep up during busy hours so expect quite a wait. Also, you can't order takeout for...

This no-frills restaurant knows how to cook their food! Both the crispy egg noodle dish and the Mongolian beef dish were just cooked to perfection. The portion was so generous that one dish could’ve fed two people. The complimentary soup was so good the meat just fell off the bone.

The food were not too salty and seasoned very well, the beef so tender, the gailan crispy, tofu and the noodle were so flavorful while remaining its crisp. They didn’t taste like old oil.

I was also impressed by the chef’s knife skills! All the veggies were sliced in perfect thickness, all even. Even the jalapeños in vinegar were sliced so well 😆

The restaurant felt clean and every bite of the food was so indulging. We would go back...

Ly Heng offers a memorable dining experience with their standout Phnom Penh dry noodles, featuring a perfect balance of savory minced pork, tender slices of liver, and springy noodles, all complemented by a fragrant broth served on the side. The freshness of the ingredients and the expertly crafted flavors make this dish a true delight. Their beef satay noodles are equally impressive, with tender beef slices marinated in a rich, spicy satay sauce that pairs wonderfully with the chewy noodles. The dish's complexity and depth of flavor are enhanced by the addition of fresh herbs and crunchy peanuts. Overall, Ly Heng excels in delivering authentic Cambodian flavors that leave a...
