Place is hidden away from plain view but is the epitome of hole in the wall Mexican food joint! It's a hidden gem. Got the carne asada fries, small order. Look at that size! Most places would give you a lot less. The thin cut fries were cooked well and carne asada is flavorful and well done. Comes with cheese, sour cream, guac and cotija. If you're from San Diego you'd know most joints won't give you both sour cream and guac so I was pleasantly surprised. This is the classic San Diegan carne asada fries and you won't be disappointed! Hot sauce was flavorful as well. They do have an extra spicy jalapeno hot sauce that's perfectly complements the fries.

Worst Mexican food I've ever tasted. Rolled tacos were overcooked....HARDLY ANY BEEF AT ALL! And the guacamole was thin and runny like a soup..... GEOSS! Terrible food! I will never be going back.....

Been going there since 2013 and my top picks are Chile Verde Burrito, Breakfast Burrito, or Carne Asada Fries. Sometimes I call ahead of time or order in person, or I send my friend to get the food. Today 4/4/17 I decided to call ahead, and its been a while I hvnt been there. I tried to order Chile Verde burrito and the girl stated that there's no such thing,only the plate option. I was confused, she said they have never made any Chile Verde "burrito". Ended driving over and talk to them in person, so apparently both the girl taking orders and the chef guy are NEW employees. So I told them I've always order the burrito. Took me sometime to convince them, at the end I got my Chile Verde Burrito!! .. no bad arguments happened, I think they did great w costumers service. For that I had to tip them.. so I give...

YAY!!!! Nothing like some WATERY flavorless guacamole to make your rolled tacos soggy. PILED high with lettuce. What's shown is AFTER I tossed handfuls of lettuce in the garbage. NO DAMN FLAVOR!!!! I even watched them water some elements down. NO SEASONING IN THE ROLLED TACOS, GUACAMOLE OR THE SALSAS. I had to add salt to EVERYTHING.
