This place is a cute hidden gem for some tasty teriyaki chicken and other assortments alike. The restaurant itself is relatively spacious, and it doesn’t seem too packed out although take what I say with a grain of salt since it’s Tuesday at 2 PM. But regarding the food, the chicken is cooked well and the sauce is flavorful; I mean it’s teriyaki chicken so I’d hope that the sauce would pull the meal together. The rice isn’t anything too special, and the meal tastes yummy but almost homemade like mamá whipped up some chicken thighs into “her version of teriyaki”. I asked if the chicken came with skin, and was pleasantly surprised to know the chicken already comes skinless+boneless which is always a blessing if your ordering teriyaki chicken specifically. I got myself the bowl value meal which came with my chicken and rice bowl, as well as a value soda aka just a can from the fridge. They had the cokes (reg, diet, zero) and other more notable sodas like reg. and diet root beer and sprite, y’all get the idea. It’s a really cute spot because you can tell it’s local and not a chain type place. The service is also really good, the girl was so sweet and it almost seems like she likes to work there which is soo refreshing since I feel like oftentimes the best places will be having the worst service. They also served me my food in like 30 seconds which I have to say definitely had me impressed. I got here at like 1:50 and I was out by 2:06 and half that time was me taking pictures and editing the menu to put their “updated” prices. Basically beef bowls cost a little more but roughly y’all finna pay like maybe 12ish bucks which is really nice for a proper meal made with love. Can I say this is my favorite teriyaki place…. No but it’s really good and I say it warrants a try from everyone at least once. It’s fire for being in Mira Mesa, but I come from Chula Vista and La Cochinita will ALWAYS be the teriyaki chicken winnerr. They didn’t make it to the United States from Ensenada Mexico with mediocre food, so if y’all vibe with this, it’s my duty to send u folks over so u can see what I’m talking about. But for being so far away from home, this food was gas and I’m glad I stopped by to give them a chance. I still gotta bring my friend to try it out so i’ll fsfs be back, but overall DAYGOEATS APPROVED✅✅ so to whoever owns this buisness keep doing what ur doing cause u do it flawlessly. They really impressed me today, on my soul😛😛

I keep seeing reviews about great value but Im having a hard time understanding why? The portions are mediocre and the bowl cost $10. However it does taste pretty good, but portions need some work. This place could always add more rice, veggies, or even peppers to the bowls. But they would have to purchase larger bowls because these are fairly small. Also I was still hungry, so I added an egg 🍳

Small little teriyaki shop with decent teriyaki bowls. Carry out or dine in, the food is prepared quickly and the staff are friendly. The food itself was average for teriyaki - tasty but not amazing. Would recommend coming here for a quick bite or a fast lunch break.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bowl To Go is a hidden gem! The portions are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for how much food you get. The taste is absolutely amazing — every bite is fresh and flavorful. One of the best parts is how fast they are: when I place an order over the phone, it’s ready in about 5 minutes! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great service, and great value. Will definitely keep coming back! Been going here...

I did enjoy coming to this place since it was tasty and convenient. Today I ordered a chicken and beef bowl. The hole time there is a lady cleaning the vents I'm waiting for 5 minutes watching her she stops cleaning and servers my food no glove change, she used her hands 3 times for my food. I told her its nast she used the same gloves. So she goes back talking in Spanish making a joke that I dont belive she changed her gloves not knowing I Speak Spanish as well. Got my...
