Unfortunately I lam homeless at the moment and this location is in a questionable area over 80 degrees outside I was told I would not be allowed to dine inside even though no other customers were here because I have my belongings in a cart rather than tied to my skateboarder or a home which at the moment I don't have and that qualifies it's a discriminatory action being temporary homeless does not mean I shouldn't feel insecure with my belongings nor denied indoor service

Been to this location a couple times.. was there yesterday at 9am and it was filthy! There was only 1 person working the counter, that person had to take the drive thru and store customers at same time. The bathroom was being cleaned from the day before that morning as well.. the staff could care less about the customers too. An area manager needs to do an unannounced visit. This place is a Dump!.. I was in the area again and stopped in and it was worse..

This Carls Jr. was open Christmas Day (one of the only establishments in the area to do so). Even working holiday the staff were friendly and the waffle fries were so fresh and delicious! I got the beyond burger for the first time and enjoyed it. My favorite is their Oreo milkshake.

Update: i got an email from the branch manager saying they would remake my order for me just give my name and time i want another. I would never return somewhere that I was mistreated at and especially not when i give my name and they remake an order "for the guy who complained". Not looking for spit in my burger. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Just the rudest staff at this location. Multiple times i've been lectured by the manager after i asked for ranch. Hands me a single ranch when i ordered 3 burgers. And when i asked for another because i have 3 burgers, she said "sauces are for finger foods not for the burgers" and rolls her eyes at me. Preceeding this, i had to stop her from closing the window just so they could hand me the drink they never got for me when i paid at the window. How i use sauces is my business. When i spend 23 dollars, i should be allowed to have 2 ranch. This place is ridiculous and not worth the ridiculous price. Go anywhere else. Hell go to popeyes just down the street or the many ramen shops one block down. Go to k sandwiches on clairemont mesa. Avoid this place.

P.s. they even forgot my fries. I guess 2 people in the dining room and 1 car in the drive thru is too much work for...

Itd been at least a couple years since I have indulged in Carl's Jr. So I was disappointed when I say down to eat my to-go order. The Western Bacon and fries were just as good as I remember. The drive thru cashier was very pleasant. So why 1 star?

Well when you upgrade a combo to large. You pay extra for a large amount of Fries. You do not pay for s large container, with only enough fries in it to fill a small size. So I paid extra for a bigger container with a small amount of fries.

This is especially troubling when they are also going to charge extra for their ranch dipping sauce when they used to be free.

Now if they respond to this, I do not want anything free. That defeats the purpose. Instead, they need to teach consistency and make sure that they know the proper amount to put in even if they have to start weighing it. I also think that in their rush for speedy service (Some drive thrus are timed). They sacrifice quality in favor of being quick. I would rather wait the few seconds for them to make sure I get the quality AND quantity...

I went in for breakfast. I was looking forward to a breakfast burger. I'm gluten intolerant so I can't eat the bun. I asked for the burger without the bun. The young man at the counter asked me how they would do that and then told me he didn't think that was possible. Not wanting to be extra or a pain I said okay just give me the burger and I can remove the bun. My husband then stepped up and ordered a breakfast burger as well. He asked for his to be in a meal with coffee. The young man rang up my husbands order but not mine. I tried to correct it but the young man couldn't seem to understand that we both wanted a breakfast burger. I was unsuccessful in my attempt to convince him our order was wring and that I wanted two breakfast burgers. My husband paid for his breakfast burger combo and I went over to the gas station next door and got some chicken wings. I couldn't tell you how the food is here because I never made...
