Chick Fil-A is becoming one of my top favorites when it comes to fast food. They make great chicken sandwich, the original number 1 on their menu. The fries are good too, the criss-cross fries. I also like their lemonade drink. They do great promotions like offering free food and even mailing coupons in the neighborhood to invite people to eat for free without requiring a minimum purchase (at least I got one in the mail.) They are also known to close on Sundays, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. If you were to ask me to rank them, I would put them a little below In N Out, somewhere in between The Habit and Wendy's, but definitely higher than McDonalds, Burger King, and Carl's Jr. I was here today, July 18, 2017 at 12:30. The wait was not too long at the time, I was next in line to order. The lady on the register called me over and I gave the free chicken nuggets coupon. I got the grilled chicken and decided to order a number 1 meal with fries and the HiC drink. Then, I went to the toilet to wash my hands and the food came out right after I was going to sit down. That was quick. I did not even get a chance to log in to their free wi-fi until in the middle of eating my sandwich. The chicken sandwich that I had is great, the original Chick-fil-A sandwich. It is just bread, chicken, and pickles. Easy as that. I do wish they can put some tomato and lettuce on it though since I love veggies. Maybe I have to ask for it. The fries were fresh and tasty. I like the fries over In N Out and the Habit. The drink I had this time was actually out of syrup. The HiC tasted like soda water so after eating I decided to ask for a refill and changed it to the blue Powerade. The grilled chicken that I had was okay, it taste just like other grilled chicken. However, the one thing that could be improved is the service. It was good, but workers need to be more aware of their surroundings. I worked at a fast food before and I made it obvious by having my drink cup lid open for a refill. I was right in front of the person who was refilling. I was okay with waiting in between customer, but I waited and waited and did not get my refill until the lady behind me yelled "excuse me". The girl with the ponytail finally responded and the lady asked for sauce because she did not get them on drive thru. She was complaining about the wait and me waiting before her. Anyways, I know it was busy because there were about 12 people in line to order(the line was across the door), but the guy coming in and out to hand food and the cashier that was in front of me should have noticed that I wanted a refill since I waited for so long. I am not upset over it since I blended in with the people who were waiting for their food order, but it was okay service for a busy day. I do appreciate the fact that they bring the food to you whether you are ordering for here or to go. The other thing that I wanted to mention is that the restroom had no soap. There was also no paper towels to wash my hands. There were hand sanitizer wipes. I used that, but it is not the same as washing hands with soap. I had to wash my hands since my hands were dirty from touching trash. I wanted to mention that to the people who are working there, but they were too busy. Anyways, I hope next time they have the soap ready because I do not want to keep using paper towels to eat my sandwich and fries. One more thing that I probably want to discuss is the drinks. This is probably for Chick-Fil-A as a whole, but I really wish they had a drinking fountain where I can access the drink and do it myself rather than have a person do it for me. I do not mind asking, but if it gets busy then it might not be worth the wait for a refill, which is what happened to me today. TL;DR: Their chicken sandwich is good, but service at this location is slow during busy hours, and the restroom did not have soap so I had to give a 3 out of 5 this time. I love their chicken sandwich and I will definitely visit again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hardly write reviews but this time I feel like is mandatory to write one .So I came to Chick-Filet-A today at 9:45 pm my total was $72.50 today btw usually I get about 7 combos.This time I was missing a Mac n cheese and 8 piece chicken nuggets keep in mind that this is not the first time my order is missing something. I ask the guy at the window if everything was in the bag he said yes I took a glance at the bags and since the line was long I said we'll I'll just double check my order in the parking lot (im not trying to come back and wait in the long lines )good thing i doble check because I was missing the 8 count nugget and the Mac n cheese. Well I notify the girl at the drive thru and she said her manager Taylor was gonna come help me outside .Taylor the manager came outside I told her the issue with my order, what I was missing.She just looked at me and said oh ok i was just told i need to check your food which I didn't mind showing her the bags and lettingher see inside them ,I guess she didn't believe me because she said she need to see all the food I was like ok look at the bag .But no she said she needed to go through the food to check all of it and make sure is not in there keep in mind I just had left the drive thru .When she said that I was like ok here's the food just give me my refund she said refund yes refund because this is not the first time this happens pretty much she was making it seem like I was lying like they never have this type of issues, I spend $72 and you think I need to lie about some nuggets and a mac n cheese Really the Audacity she had man i can't believe it I use to work at Jack I was a TL myself my boss always told me the customer is always Right ,also from experience I can say that we're not perfect and forget to give the right order I know that chick filet it ain't the exception but hopefully they learn how to manage and more commutationwith each of the team workers that way this kind of things don'thappen.I mean was I wrong for wanting what I pay for ? I was frustrated š š” because like I say it happens 3 out of 5 times good thing is that the other times I'm still that the drive thru .Well the manager Taylor wasn't much of a help she took 20 minutes to give me my refund and the had the Audacity to say oh since you don't have the milk I'm not gonna refund it ,I said oh I forgot it let me get it from my car gave her the milk and straw because maybe she was gonna charge me for that too lol .It's crazy how she was so defensive and didn't believe me about my missing food SMH. I hope to go back and not have this kind of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the worst experience ever when I used the drive thru to order my food at the Mira Mesa location for Chic-Fil-A. After placing my order and paying for it using my debit card, I waited in line for several minutes because the lines were super long. When I finally got to the window to pick up my order, I had to wait several more minutes and they told me that they didn't have any order for me. I was yelled at, disrespected, and completely embarrassed. And even after I showed proof of my order being placed and paid for, I was still denied my food. I then went inside so I wasn't still holding up the drive thru line while trying to get my food that I paid for. Once inside, I started talking with the manager named David about the issue with my food order. He continued to yell at me and embarrass me while I was in the store and accused me of trying to just get free food even after I showed him the proof of my payment. He then tried to claim that it was an issue their payment system was having with the company of my debit card but he still refused to give me the food I paid for or even apologize for disrespecting me, yelling at me, racially profiling me, and embarrassing me. It became obvious that the way I was being treated was deliberate and intentional because every other customer received their order without having any issues. I spent close to an hour at this establishment and the staff here didn't help to resolve the issue, didn't acknowledge their mistakes with my order, didn't apologize for their horrible disrespect towards me, or give me the food I paid for. Thanks to this horrible experience, I was unable to get food for my nieces and nephews who were staying with me for the night. This kind of experience should never have to happen to anyone any I will never return to this establishment or any other...
