China Express — Restaurant in San Diego

Came in about 7:30pm, ordered the 6.99 special with the soup. Egg drop was about gone and the lady filled the cup half way, it looked cold. I asked if they were going to make more and she said no because they're going to close at 8:30pm. So I asked for the wonton soup, in which I waited a few minutes while they finished preparing it. When I opened it, it had only 2 wontons in it. When I took it back to the counter, I saw they had put fresh egg drop soup, so I asked for that instead. The lady shouted to some one in the kitchen in their language then told me rudely she was asking the manager if it's ok to change it since I had "asked so many times". I told her it was my 2nd request and she said it was my 3rd and proceeded to argue with me about it. I told her I was a regular customer there and she shouldn't be so rude, but because of her rudeness they lost a customer. She continued to be loud so I took my order to go. The food ended up being cold and the chow mein tasted like spaghetti noodles with a bland flavor. I'm not sure how they get an A rating unless they're paying off the inspector. I do not recommend this place.save your money and go...

Lately ALL positions have been less/reduced. It gets worse at the end of the day, like the last 1 hr. Portions are less and the server. The young man he lies a lot. For example, I buy the special of $11.69, its a three item plate to go. Three times in a week I came. First time, I was give 3 wings, 2nd time there were 2 wings and the server young man gave me 2 wings an dhe said he would give me more of another food, but he gave me like 2 pieces of slides chickens..very small pieces..3rd buying, he gave me 2 wings, and I said it was 3 wings. He lied and said his boss said 2 wings and that they always give 2 wings. I confronted him that I came 2 prior times and he smiled, lied, and said he was joking around. I said, where is my 2rd wing or more food. He said no, his boss doesn't want to. I said, it oks, last time I am coming to these place and ill leave a review. Server, cook, owners didn't care.

Bad customer service, cheap, and more more at the end of day with food. Stretching food to last.

Place need a remodeling and a deep cleaning. I wonder what letter the Chinese express has? And when was the last time of inspection by the food...

In the area and i felt like eating chinese food but i realized i always go to the same panda express nearby. Theres a nice chinese buffet nearby that i like but i dont feel like dealing with a buffet. I have seen this place a couple of times so i decide to look it up. Reviews are....pretty negative as you can see, with the common thread being their delivery sucks. Being someone who likes to judge for himself and also only having 7 bucks, i head over. Get half n half, despite the "fried rice" being bright orange. Orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and coconut(or honey) shrimp. Well.... At least the Coca Cola was outstanding. The chow mein was bland and unenjoyable. Fried rice was ok but not great. Teriyaki chicken was decent enough but with a weird aftertaste. Orange chicken and shrimp were good but flavor was passing. Overall, i would still come here if i only had 7 bucks and wanted chinese and good...
