WaBa Grill — Restaurant in San Diego

Order To-Go and 30mins Later: I ordered inside the restaurant and Sylvia at the front seemed very confused and disorganized. Myself and four other patrons ordered and were all waiting for more than 25mins for our food to arrive and every item that was even given was incorrect or was missing items from the order from what I was seeing the others say to her. I was astounded how there was so much confusion behind the counter and with the orders.

There were two ppl working behind the counter and the guy cooking in the back today was just confused. Mixing up the tickets and ppls orders as well as every time Sylvia spoke with him he didn't seem to care at all.

My order finally came and I was so flustered by that point I needed to get back to work I should've check my bowls.. They were both incorrect and cold and after looking at my receipt I noticed I was also charged for the wrong items. So frustrating I will be thinking twice the next time I...

I wanted to try the New Plant Based, was good and service was good. But was charged for avocado I didn't get. I came bck and was given a refund of exactly the $1.99 charge of avocado, minus the extra +15cent tax I paid on it. I can't help but feel like I paid them for their mistake, + extra time and gas it took to come back. And just didn't sit right with me. Since we are over charged and nickel and dimed for everything, we should get the same, when it's due bck to us. I don't think I'll be returning, something abt that just doesn't feel right, and I don't feel like I was made Whole in the situation. Yea it's just couple cents tax, but you guy's also don't hesitate to charge customers for every cent of everything given. Yea. Just not right. The new plant based was good, and cashier was nice. But not right to still be charged for item and mistake, did not receive....

I don't normally review fast food locations but I left this Waba Grill extremely happy. I enjoy ordering takeout with Waba through the app due to the convenience of having your food ready for pickup when you arrive but have noticed they often neglect the small requests. I frequent the veggie bowl but don't particularly enjoy steamed carrots and have lately been asking them to be omitted from my order. At my local Waba, they ignore it and I disappointingly open my order to see carrots present. But here, they nailed it! It may seem like something trivial to be so pleased with but it's the small things that set aside chains like this. I could have gotten lucky with my order but I like to be optimistic and think that this team cares.
