Today, I came in and did not understand why the sliders were five dollars or seven dollars. The waitress was a bit annoyed or condescending. I’m not sure which, but somehow it did not feel great when she said it was the previous happy hour price for the exact time period I was there. 3-6pm. They now just have daily drink specials of which I could not partake. One slider was $7.55 After taxes. OK, the meat was decent, but it was cool. It was not hot. That’s way too much to pay for a mediocre mini burger in my humble opinion. Food came out quickly though. I really dislike when restrooms do not have somewhere to hang a bag especially a place like this that is also a bar. As a woman, where am I supposed to put my bag if I bring it with me to the restroom? It’s very awkward and is easily remedied by a simple hook on the door or wall somewhere. Also, when I went to the restroom, there were two options for toilet paper and both of them were empty. EMPTY! 🤦‍♀️ Edit: It was that day, yes. Wednesday April 2, at 3:30pm. Woman took my order. Guy with long sandy blonde hair, I think she said hi Ian to him, came in just before 4. Weirdly, some woman came in, took photos of the menu and door, and then left…. The photos I added are the same that she took + the fireball Friday one.

I highly recommend (5 Stars) Corbin’s Brew & BBQ House, for these major reasons: Excellent Service, Excellent Cuisine, and Excellent Atmosphere! The Tri-tip, Pork, Chicken, Ribs, and Sausage are BBQ daily on site. You can add, a variety of side dishes, along with Corbin’s own mild, or spicy BBQ sauce. To help you quench your thirst there is a variety of Fountain Drinks, along with a nice assortment of Bottled, and Draft Beers on Tap (IPA, Stout). The cozy & comfortable corner restaurant, offers indoor and outdoor (covered patio) table seating, with an indoor bar. There are three indoor and one outdoor 50” TV’s to watch sports or special events while you dine. Corbin and his Team are courteous and professional and always have a welcoming smile. This restaurant caters to anyone, who enjoys authentic and delicious BBQ dishes, with their family, friends, kids, neighbors, and college students. Open daily!” Victor S.

10 out of 10! Corbin’s Q absolutely ROCKS! The staff and service is amazing - super friendly and truly love what they do! The restaurant is an awesome place to kick back and enjoy your meal - great energy and vibe the whole time we were there. The story is so cool, starting at a the farmers market to now catering and across the country with a permanent location near SDSU! Check out Tap Trucks and their booze is tasty as well! Do yourself a fever and enjoy a plate (or 3!) - highly recommend everything as you can’t miss on their menu!!! Yes I’m a BEAST and I feast when I conquer! 🍖🦴🍗🥩🥓🍺🥃 📸 CQ Beast Feast 📸 CQ Sampler 📸 Pulled Pro Sammy 📸 Beans, Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, Slaw 📸 Fries @CorbinsQ IF YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS LIKE GOOD BARBECUE, THEN WE LIKE YOU! 📍San Diego, CA 🐳

The food was only ok. We got the big sampler plate to share and be able to tey various meats. The pulled pork was delicious and tender and moist. It was the best! The tri tip was dry and super tough to eat. The wings had an amazing crunch but no real flavor outside of the BBQ sauce. The ribs were tender, not quite falling off the bone, but good. The sausage was decent, and what you would expect from a hot link. The meal came with 4 decent size sides, and we ordered a 5th. We got mac and cheese, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw, and also ordered the fried pickles. The mac and cheese was good. Had a different type of sauce, but it worked. We expected the beans to be baked beans, but they were more like a chili bean. They weren't my favorite, but my husband really enjoyed them. The coleslaw wasn't very good at all. Lacked any type of flavor. The potato salad was ok, but I was disappointed to learn that it was a store bought and not homemade. The fried pickles were frozen and not made in house, they were ok. Salted nicely. However, you tasted more of the batter and maybe a pickle aftertaste. They have 3 different BBQ sauces and sweet, a spicy and a mustard based sauce. I really enjoyed the sweet with the mustard sauce a close second. The spicy one was very tart. They have a nice bar set up. We'll drinks were the special the night we went. They also had a game night but it was later in the evening and we didn't stay. The service was great. The bartender was super friendly...

It can be real hit or miss here unfortunately. I love that they're local. My company orders food here at least once a month, but I don't know for how much longer with the inconsistencies... The first time we ordered their wings they were juicy and delicious! The 2nd time they were burnt and dry. For the price I don't want to risk a repeat of the 2nd time. I often order the smoked chicken. Sometimes it's a breast, sometimes it's sliced, sometimes it's chunks, sometimes it's on a bone. Again, inconsistency. I ordered a chicken sammich recently and the chicken was shredded, just yesterday it was sliced. Not a big big deal, but different. The first time I asked for lettuce and tomato and they topped it with mixed greens and cherry tomato. It was delicious. This last time I was told they don't have tomato so they didn't put any on there. Okie. My biggest "rant" is the serving size changes. A few weeks ago my boss picked up a few orders and when we all sat down to eat everyone remarked at how little potato salad they received. They have REALLY good potato salad, so that was disappointing. So when I go in yesterday and receive a tiny plastic cup with half the usual amount yet still the same price, I was disappointed to say the least. My onion rings are always burnt as well. :( We're planning our annual Summer Party and had Corbin's at the top of our list. I don't know if that's still a possibility. I do want to stress though that they have wonderful employees that are...

Several issues when I have eaten from here. Let's start with the dry Mac n cheese. I've seen the photos from here and that was not what I got. We got what looked like last night's food reheated up. Dry...had a brownish color to the cheese and the noodles were mushy from being over cooked.

The chicken has been dry several times. Went late once thought it's not the freshest as it's end of the day. So went at different times and yes. Dry dry dry. I finally had some juicy chicken at 1130am...only to find the taste of it to be a little rubbery and slightly pink.

Wife found several long black hairs in her sandwich. As she has red hair and food was to go...can't say they fell off her head and landed under the bun and 1st layer of chicken.

Tri tip and beer are the 2 stars. (Never had the brisket as it was sold out most Sat I've gone...maybe it's a saving grace.)

Garlic bread is hit or miss. Could be great could be used as a hockey puck.

The ribs I had were again dry and some had meat some did not.

The sides for sandwiches are super small and not worth the price.

Unfortunately this will be the last time we come here. I've had BBQ from all over and I wanted this to be better than what it has been.

Maybe it's better at the street fair or event as good as made to order and not served from the...
