Curry Pizza House just opened 6 days ago, and I wanted to love this place, and I absolutely did!
Authentically Indian with a creative twist, their menu is both exciting and delicious. We tried the Butter Chicken Pizza and it was everything you’d hope for: rich, buttery, juicy chicken, and layers of flavor in every bite. The Chicken Curry Masala Pizza was also really good, fresh and bright with bell peppers, tomato, and cilantro, but my personal favorite was still the butter chicken.
Don’t skip the Desi Garlic Sticks. They’re the perfect appetizer, cheesy, garlicky, and fresh out of the oven.
They’re currently running a 25% off the entire menu promo until October 5th, which makes it even better. And yes, there are Indians making the pizzas in the back, that’s how you know the flavors are the real deal.
The atmosphere is great: good music, a nice bar area, plenty of tables, and big TVs if you want to catch a game.
If you’re craving pizza with authentic Indian flavors, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back...
Read moreCame here on Friday around 11am and we were the only customers there! Curry Pizza House opened last week so it's a brand new restaurant in Mira Mesa, it replaced what used to be Bolsa. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Butter Chicken Pizza with "thin crust," Chicken Tikka Pizza (with regular crust), and the Lamb Kabob Pizza (with regular crust). First off, the thin crust vs. regular crust wasn't much different. Only a slight height change in the dough, but still delicious. My friends preferred the thin crust but I actually enjoyed the regular crust better. Taste wise we all enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Pizzas way more than the Lamb Kabob. We were hoping the curry sauce base of the Lamb Kabob Pizza was going to be more prominent but this pizza was the least flavorful out of the 3 we ordered. We were offered 25% off our total bill as a grand opening offer!! They're running this promo until October so come take advantage of this discount and enjoy delicious Indian...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for their pizza. Since it was a new concept for us and after reading raving reviews, we wanted to try and see what was going on at this fine eating establishment. Upon arriving, they had multiple tv screens mounted on every wall. Since my 49ers were playing, this was an added benefit upon itself for coming. Our waiter David G. recommended that we try a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza, so we decided to get chicken tikka and sizzling bacon. We were not disappointed in the least bit as both sides of the pizza were made on a crispy crust, which was another added benefit. David G. also noted that their beers, on tap for the month of October, were on a 2 for 1 special, another added benefit we were not expecting. Yes ~ we did imbibe on a couple of "Kona Wave" drafts. My wife & I will be visiting here again.... & again, based on our 1st experience. Thank you for the warm and friendly greeting and service, the great food and the wonderful ambiance. See...
