Epic Wings — Restaurant in San Diego

Wings N Things has been a favorite mine for years. Hands down the best wings in San Diego.. They focus on the quality and not the quantity by keeping a simple menu, but by making their wings the best darn wings ever and not by boggling you down with a five paged menu that you would certainly never order everything off of anyway. If you love hot wings or even if you've never tried them, this is the place to go because your gonna love their wings no doubt I gave them a 4 because my review was based on the Mira Mesa location, normally I go to the Escondido location. The Mira Mesa location doesn't pile it on as much as the Escondido Wings N Things. I asked for my order to be extra wet and didn't see it like in Escondido and I had to order an extra chicken strip on my buffalo fries in Mira Mira Mesa because otherwise the chicken would be gone half way through my meal That's not the case in Escondido. My girlfriend and I go here everytime she's in San Diego and we always get amazing food with amazing service but today they went way out of their way to show just how important their customers are and how much they value their public relations. We ordered 2 double orders of the buffalo chicken pizza sticks (some for now, some for later 😉) and they told us it would be about 15-20 minutes. That's not out of the ordinary, it's a Friday night after all. Well we waited around 24 minutes which is absolutely understandable given the timing but because we waited 4 minutes longer than their estimate they refunded our order and still have us the food! It was an amazing gesture on their part - they didn't need to do it all because waiting a couple of minutes extra on a busy night is totally understandable if not expected but we greatly appreciated the gesture and we will...

I really enjoyed the food here it was tasty, right heat and variety. The reason for the 3 stars is because when I walked in to pick up my order the four or five employees working behind the counter were joking around and dropping customers food on the floor purposely. I asked them if that was mine they said no it's another customer, the employee didn't apologize or said sorry for seeing then drop it and didn't fix the problem. The customer walked in and picked up her order and walked away without telling her what they did. This is very dangerous in the way they handle this especially the world we live in with this virus.
