I NEED THE OWNER TO READ ALL OF THIS AND THEN REACH OUT ASAP. THIS SERVICE WAS UNACCEPTABLE!

Have you ever had a waiter/waitress so absolutely moronic that they put a steak knife in right front of a very active 1 year old? I sure haven't until I came here and had Cher as a waitress. That isn't all however. I feel it's best to start from the beginning. It is my mother's birthday today so me and my brother decided to take her and the kids here for her birthday. When me and my wife got there with the kids we sat down. My daughter was in my lap and my wife had our son in the car seat sitting on her lap. Cher took our drink orders and then came back with everything except for the drinks for my daughter. On top of that I had to ask 3 times for a booster seat and nobody even thought to offer a chair for my wife so she wouldn't have to sit with a CAR SEAT in her lap the whole time. We ended up getting both the chair and the booster seat. Due to the table being overcluttered because of cher not clearing a single thing from the table, my wife's beer ended up getting spilled all over her through no fault of our own. We were told we would get a replacement beer and never actually did. When Cher brought the kids food she gave my daughter the wrong plate which belonged to my niece. Not knowing what my wife had ordered her I started feeding her the food. When we realized we had the wrong food and asked Cher if she could make it right, she took the Mac and cheese from my niece (who hadn't started to eat it yet) and replaced it with the torn up chicken my daughter had been eating rather than getting a new plate made. When my food finally came, she set my plate right in front of my 1 year old daughter with the steak knife directly in her reach. If I wasn't fast enough my daughter would have grabbed the knife and hurt herself. We complained to the manager, not sure of her name but she was an older blonde woman. She apologized for the waitress, replaced her with somebody else and had them make us a new plate for my niece. By this point my daughter still had not gotten her milk and water, our new waitress got it to us in less than a minute. When it came time to leave I was given the check and although they never replaced the beer they spilled they tried charging me for it anyways. When I asked for them to take it off they came back with the wrong bill and charged me $96. When I realized this I spoke to the person at the register who issued a refund and then charged me for my correct total. To be completely honest, not even trying to be that guy but after our entire meal had been ruined due to Cher from start to end, I feel as if the meal should have just been comped. $71 is far too much money for everything we had to endure while eating here. Tuesday, August 6 - My husband and I had lunch here today. I had the BBQ Treat sandwich with onion rings and he had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with fruit. To begin with our waitress was exceptional! One of the best we've seen and we eat out a lot. The food was delicious and made perfectly. The meat on my sandwich was tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce was perfectly tangy. On the way out we stopped at the bakery and purchased dessert for later..carrot cake cupcake and chocolate custard eclair (mine). YUM!! Today I rated it 5 stars...but then we came back the following week...

Monday, August 12 - Last week our lunch was so good (as mentioned above) that I wanted to come back for another BBQ Treat sandwich. Unfortunately, unlike last week, the service today was terrible and the restaurant was only half full. It took 15 minutes before someone came over to take our drink orders and then another 10 minutes to get the drinks. My husband ordered the Mish Mash and it was fine. When my order finally arrived the meat was tough and chewy and basically uneatable. The BBQ sauce was bland, tasteless, and had no tang whatsoever. I don't know why there was such a big difference in taste and quality and service from last week but it was a huge disappointment especially since I was looking forward to it all morning. Even though I couldn't eat it I hate wasting food so I paid for it and took it home to see if my husband could eat it later. So, unfortunately, I had to rate it...

Used to eat here all the time, then moved away 8 years ago. Prices are pretty high, but sandwiches and portions are HUGE. Still, it's clear that there have been no updates (booths/ carpeting/decor) in the last 8 years, and it was a little shabby before. Looking threadbare and shopworn. Nevertheless, my bowl of Barley Soup and "small" ham sandwich ($14) were delicious -- and had GREAT service from Tiffany!

Update 27 June 2024 More shabby than before. Really dirty... And the profit margins here are massive. And I mean message. Sandwiches used to be huge. Now not so much. I had the Ted leitner sandwich and it was not very large at all. In fact the slices of bread weren't very large and the amount of meat did not even cover the entire bread portion. And it had two slices of what appeared to be Kraft singles cheese on it. This place has a full deli! That sandwich was $22... And it came with a small serving of coleslaw. I also had a bowl of soup which was quite good. But it was $11. With tax tip and out the door, that sandwich and bowl of soup was $40. RRRRRRROUCH!! And on top of that my waitress disappeared several times. I spend my Winters in Asia where it's often difficult to find a good sandwich. I thought that I would get one here. But those days are gone at this restaurant. Shabby, mediocre food, mediocre to poor service.... Skip it... Frankly Subway is better, and you can eat there for about 25% of what I spent for dinner tonight. I...
