Edit: They offered to give me a refund or make me something else the next day when I called. I opted to get dinner the next day. They were very nice and accommodating and I got the pad see ew mock duck and shrimp spring rolls. These dishes were fresh and tasted good. It's what I used to get when they were Thai Taste and it's still good.
There were no napkins or utensils. I guess I'm using my hands and shirt.
The spicy tuna sushi roll was disgusting. It had an old taste to it and because they placed it on top of the soup with no kind of barrier(piece of cardboard would do), the soup heated up the sushi and made it further inedible. Threw it away.
The wonton soup was disappointing - I ordered the large thinking it would be you know - a larger portion. It's not. It's the same size cup but they pack more vegetables and less broth(the broth is the best part). No additional dumplings and the shrimp still had shell on it.
The chicken in the soup was way overcooked and had a terrible smell. The dumplings also did not taste fresh - they had a store frozen processed taste and the center was lukewarm as if they had been microwaved but not all the way. The broth was fine - it didn't taste amazing it...
Read moreThere's a Thai restaurant around every corner, so let's give this place a try!
The restaurant is located in a corner in a small lot with minimal parking. There are about 10 tables inside with a sushi bar. Kind of odd for a Thai place to sell sushi but I guess it works.
Our server seated us as soon as we walked in and then took our order with a smile and recommended the Yen Ta Fo. We ordered a chicken pad Thai because I use this as the bar for every Thai restaurant.
The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and everything tasted great!
The pork belly was crispy, salty, and porky. The pad Thai was salty, sweet, sour.
The Yen Ta Fo was very interesting. I have never had anything like it before. My wife described it as vinegary, salty, and savory. Pretty good, but not what I was expecting. I guess if you like tom yum, it's close to it in flavor.
Overall this is a solid Thai place if you live...

I had visited the previous restaurant at this location and didn’t enjoy it much, so I came to Thai Thae with an open mind—and I’m glad I did!
I ordered the pork stir-fried with garlic and my go-to at any Thai restaurant: chicken Pad Thai. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and satisfying—especially the Pad Thai, which hit all the right notes. I’d give the food a solid 4.5/5.
The ambience is a huge improvement from the old place. The space feels cleaner, brighter, and much more inviting, which makes dining here a pleasant experience. Definitely 5/5 for ambience.
The only downside was the slow service, which brought my overall experience down a bit. Hopefully, it’s just a one-off and things will improve with time. For now, I’d give service 3.5/5, but I’m looking forward to coming back and updating this review!
