Great treats, favorite is Oreo cupfection. Price is still fair, even though went up a few cents recently (was done quietly, but I noticed). Service is excellent, I have never seen a scowl and everyone radiates a warm welcoming energy. Has a lovely (rather than unlovely!) family feel.
Update: tried the hot food options, or rather option, singular. Only hotdogs available. Possibly worst chili dog I’ve ever had. To your Board: ditch the hot food, you are weak at it and you don’t need it. It actually harms your core business. I understand your dilemma and there are different ways to solve it, but this isn’t it. You are already doing a couple of cakes, maybe hit that harder and expand ice creams to some more extravagant decadent varieties. You could even go into pastries. That is more adjacent a market than hot food. Also consider ditching the app; running costs can’t be negligible. I ordered using app to discover they only started to prepare my order when I arrived at the “order ready expected time”. I very much suspect it is an issue with the app and not the servers, as they were very quick and efficient once they started. I also noticed the discounts in the store were better than...
Read moreI got an ice cream cake here for my mom's birthday. I did not have a call ahead I purely walked in and asked for one. The employee first said they didn't have any available. Then the employee went in the back and asked another employee and checked a different freezer and came back and said they had one. I was in a pinch so of course I took it. I asked if I could pay them to write happy birthday on it and the employee had to go check and see if they had any gel to write on it. They came back and said the only gel they had was brown in color, unfortunately the cake I got had a brown top so that wasn't going to work. Anyway it was very tasty and I would get the same one again. A little expensive but it was...
Read moreI haven't been to a dairy Queen in forever so when I saw that I was near one, I jumped the chance to go because their Hawaiian blizzard is my all-time favorite summer treat. Unfortunately, they did not have all of the ingredients to make it. ( How are you not going to have coconut at a Dairy Queen?) However, the kid working behind the counter tried to accommodate me as best as he could , and made me a banana split blizzard, although this was a misunderstanding as I was asking him to make me the Hawaiian blizzard sans the coconut, which I was going to add at home. He didn't charge me for either Blizzard, and even though it wasn't quite the same when I added the coconut at home, it was...
