Chuck and I had a great dinner at awesome Korean Restaurant. The staff members were great. This was our first time dining here at DalBam Moon Night and we definitely had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff members were wonderful.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated and was quitea fun place. Gotta love K Pop music. The service was great and all I can say is that they showed how much they cared for the customer experience.
We ordered two appetizers and one hot pot. We were pleasantly surprised to get a third appetizer which was sent to us by the Chef. Thst appetizer, Corn Hheese, was probably the best we have had in San Diego. We appreciate that the chef did this and this shows that they want to make sure that the customers are happy. The Fried Dumplings and the Cheese Balls were perfectly cooked and delicious. Our main dishes, Budae Joengol ( Army Stew), which was a hot pot, was unlike any other wecgave had. This version was the most flavorful we had ever had. The broth was seasoned perfectly with the perfect amount of heat or spice level.
This is a fun and great restaurant with delicious food. We definitely will return for...
Read moreThe whole atmosphere was very cool but the food was not so much. I was recommended by a friend who said the food was amazing. Came in with a hungry stomach and the food was awful. Had the takoyaki and it was hard as a rock. It was so hard to bite, I burnt my tongue from the hot octopus batter in the inside. Maybe they were having an off day or they decided to deep fry it but I couldn’t eat another bite of it. Tried their bulgogi dish and it wasn’t doing it for me. It was mixed with onions and jalapeños. Couldn’t taste the flavor of the meat, just the jalapeños. Like what are you trying to hide? I couldn’t even finish that plate or get half way. So I looked in the menu for something simple. They were known for their bulgogi fries. I’m just hoping this one is ok because I was hungry. It’s basic but at least I was able to eat it. Not sure but it feels like they like to deep fry everything because those fries were crispy hard. I’m just lucky those fries were small cut. Yeah I don’t think this is a place to come if you have an empty stomach. Don’t think I’ll be...
Read moreThe male server (one with pink-ish hair) was extremely rude to the point that I almost fought him. We sat at the large table since we didn't want to sit right in the dead center of the restaurant, and the guy was annoyed at us. He told us that we will have to move to another table if a large party showed up and we agreed. 10 - 15minutes went by and one of the booth was available so we flagged him down and asked if we can move to that table. He immediately with anger said something in the lines of "no, you guys should have waited for that booth in the first place and now you want to move?"
I will never go back unless that server is fired, because if I do see him, i'll probably give him hell.
My advice would be to just go to Zzan.
