I went into Dunkin about a week ago today I was treated Horribly! I placed my order right before a large group arrived I placed my order through the screen at the front desk since there was a gentleman with a child placing their order with an employee. I soon as I was done placing my order I moved out of the way and after a few minutes I started to notice that everyone after me was being called up to pick up their order. I looked at the screen and it says my order is ready so I walk up and the lady said my last name that was on the screen and I said yes and she walked away didn’t say anything proceeded to grab a bag and put my order together while the screen said my order was ready meanwhile I’m noticing everyone that was there after me grab their order and left about 20 minutes went by and I was still there waiting for my order to be put together and the lady gave me my bag and she went on to prepare other coffees I went up to speak with her to make her aware that I still have not gotten my coffee and she walked away didn’t say anything NO COMMUNICATION then after a large order was placed she finally handed my coffee to me so I stated “ I just want to make you aware that I put in my order from that screen at the front desk before all these people arrived and I’m still here and they are all gone” lady replies “yeah well we were busy” so do the customers at the counter take priority and the orders from the screen that you provide are handled last or get lost and we just have to deal with it? I made the employee aware that it was their mistake they should have just recognized that. As I was walking out the employee with very heavy lashes makes a comment and everyone laughs so I went back inside I asked her “did you think something was funny?” The lady putting the orders together at the counter laughs again and turns away. I asked for Managers number the heavy lash girl walks to the back and comes back with cups and looks at me up and down I grab the phone number provided and walked out. I called Dunkin to put a complain various times and wrote an email a week ago I still have not heard from them! I understand now why their employees act this way worst...

Things have changed...but rather than cite the things I am disappointed about base on my two recent visits to the new store, I want provide a more objective and hopeful review so as to avoid throwing a wet blanket on their Grand Opening.
Considering their location along Mira Mesa Blvd, this store needs to work MAGIC in order to succeed. They have opened within a half mile of two well established donut shops not to mention at least four more coffee/donut places. (btw, yes the AmPm is one of their biggest competitors since they sell tons of coffee/donuts to loyal locals.)
In order to disrupt this thriving market they're going to need to grab business away from competition with coupons and promotions for FREE COFFEE & DONUTS...LOTS OF FREE ONES. DD has the quality but they need to lure in their new business.
Inside the store they need to turn the volume WAY DOWN ( or off) on their fake radio station because:
A) customers DONT LIKE TO HOLLAR THEIR ORDER TWICE AT THE FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES WHO CANNOT HEAR ESPECIALLY WITH FACE MASK WEARING CUSTOMERS and
B) customers already inside the store DONT WANNA be pummelled with hyped up fake radio ads about DD while they shovel out $ for overpriced sweet stuff/ junk food.
Tip: Paneraa Bread has the local Mira Mesa coffee market in a freekin' chokehold right now with their insane $8.99 /month unlimited coffee subscription. I cant breath...thats because I'm saving tons of $. I wish them...

I've been waiting (and waiting.. and waiting...) for months for Dunkin' to open in Mira Mesa and they finally have!!! My husband reminded me that today was their grand opening, and - after doing a happy dance - off I went.
I got to the drive-thru at about 10:40, and was on my way home about 15 minutes later with a half dozen donuts, an iced latte for hubby, and a matcha latte for me. The service was pretty quick (a couple behind me in line decided to go inside to order, and they were in and out in 5 minutes), and the girls at the drive-thru window were very pleasant.
One downside: they don't have their donuts listed on the drive-thru menu (at least I couldn't find them), so I tried ordering from memory. I ordered 2 strawberry w/sprinkles, 1 chocolate w/sprinkles, 1 glazed, and 2 chocolate glazed. Apparently I confused frosted chocolate and chocolate glazed, not knowing they have chocolate donuts that are glazed. That was my mistake, however it worked out because they're delicious and I tried something that I normally wouldn't have!
I really liked the matcha latte, but hubby wasn't a fan of his iced latte (said he couldn't really taste the coffee). I told him I'll get him a cold brew next time, because obviously I'll...
