Epic Wings — Restaurant in San Diego

​Epic wings is relatively new, but the crowd is starting to come. It’s a large space, with little decor and that loft space feel. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, with a bar. There’s are TVs and music that plays too loud, even outside. The staff was nice.

The menu is pretty simple. I ordered the pepperoni pizza sticks, which is made on top of the breadsticks. Fries along with the garlic cheese sauce. The pizza sticks are alright, there’s a good amount of sauce and cheese. The fries are fine too, but the garlic cheese sauce was too salty.

My lunch mate got the strips with honey bbq, and comes with celery, carrots, and 2 breadsticks. The breadsticks were lightly seasoned and there was a lot of sauce, so you may want it on the side if that’s an issue.

Was just here Monday afternoon and had a horrible experience. I self ordered and sat down. 20 minutes later still no food.“assistant manager” Jana was standing in the expo window on her phone. When she finally looked up at me, she just said “couple more minutes” and continued back on her phone. 5 more minute pass and still no food. I asked again and she said “not yet”. No apologies and no urgency to asked the kitchen for my order. A good manager/employee would have handled this very differently. I asked for a refund and she quickly accepted as if this was very normal and frequent happenings at...

Parking is extremely scarce outside of parking structures where u may have to pay and walk a block or two. Plenty of seating but patio is next to the busiest of streets though located slightly above sidewalk. Plenty of staff though some seem clueless. Inquire about ur order get a giggle and a grin if ur lucky an answer. I legit saw six employees there were 3 tables waiting for food staff was walking around doing little to nothing and the 1 of six orders that made it out 10 min after I arrived move my car and came back waited another 5 min was given to the...
