Closed, on Christmas Day, contrary to this web’s advice. This seems like more of a commentary on the review web’s inadequacies, than the restaurant. An adjoining clerk for the gas station & store, of which Sombrero is a part, was open. The store does have Mexican food: refrigerated burritos🌯 of beef & beans, $5; zapped in their microwave, as good as Taco Bell- better, likely, ‘cuz I expect TB is closed today.
When going to this business, from north-bound Convoy St, turn left (west) at the traffic light for CPP, then a quick right into the place, drive north 100’, & east 50’; park. Turning directly into the business, from north-bound Convoy, is illegally going across a painted “island”; it is not a turning lane!
When leaving this place, do not make a left turn onto either Copley Park Pl or Convoy St., except by going about 200’ west, parallel to Cop. P. Pl., thru the adjoining RV dealership. They have signs up, advising of this. Failure to follow this admonition could cost: citations & frequent accidents. People stubbornly try to get onto the garbage rd, Hwy 52, by hanging lefts straight out of this corner gas station. Another way to safely do that, is to go right (south) on Convoy, & make a U-turn at the next...

However, I ordered a shrimp burrito. The order was up in under 2 minutes. I thought nothing of this. But when I open the container that the burrito was barely wrapped and falling apart. Also, it was messy as if all the ingredients were just slapped into the burrito. The ingredients for rice salsa, cheese and shrimp and they were all slapped into the burrito in under 2 minutes and tastes. I've been in California for a year now and have eaten at many Mexican restaurants many of which have been sombreros and this by far was my worst No my only...

The burrito was quite good and came loaded with shredded beef and scrambled eggs, not to mention onions, green peppers, and pico de gallo. It was not only large but delicious as well. I liked the beef was juicy as well. They you a very good quality flour tortilla for the burrito.
The salsa bar was good. It could have used a little cleaning, but the red salsas I had were very good.
The service was very nice. They two ladies running the place had a good sense of humor and were friendly. They offer inside and...
