Great Wall Express — Restaurant in San Diego

This place downsized on there to go containers. I specifically said no rice and they loaded rice on my to-go container they cut their servings in half. And still charge the same price. Those who read my post. Know that I'm fair and truthful. This place is undermining their long time patrons. And when I questioned their serving size and what they're doing it took my money and walked in the back and left me standing there when asking questions. You're better off to go to other Chinese places. Then this spot. Do not do not go spend your money with people who try to undermine and take advantage of their customers.!!! And it's $12+ with tax for a small extra small container of product so not cool so undermining it's embarrassing to the owners.;!! If you look at the reviews 8 months 2 years 3 years ago yes their servers were proper the start new reviews as of today. We'll review honestly we want businesses to be successful. At the same time. Not undermine patrons and loyal patrons with subpar portions and subpar food. Start new reviews if you happen to mistakenly end up in this place. Leaving honest with you up to date. I just finished the subpar serving. And truthfully I'll never go back...

The people here are usually very friendly. They took a very long time to make soup. But that being said the food is good for the portions you get and the price you pay. I like the fried rice, Lo mein, Orange Chicken and basically everything I got from there which was a lot since I order for a whole family and tried a little of everything. The taste is about what you'd expect if not better. I don't think anything really fell flat but you take a look at the food and like I said, about what you'd expect if not better. So overall good experience and I'd come back and recommend any one who wants to fill their belly with something fairly cheap...

Just an overall terrible experience. I’m not expecting something nice at this price point at all, but I at least expect carbonation in the beverages and more than one piece of ice. The ice at the using their drinks is dirty. They get it in the back and pack it off of something you get a tiny little piece. Just go to panda express down the street. I hate to support a corporate chain over a small Mom pop but this mom and Pop shop clearly does not care about...
