Ok so I’ve been a member here for well over 2 years; first came consistently in class pass and then joined. Got ripped for my wedding. Also drawn to having 5am class I can get to before working a 12 hour 7-7 hospital shift. Continued picking heavier and heavier weights as time has progressed and coaches encouraged. My rating is based on CURRENT changes happening without any warning or communication from Renegade to members or most/ any of their coaching staff other than a manager. As a middle aged (43) yr old woman who does snowboarding, climbing, running and who spent decades in CrossFit gyms and lifting prior to this membership, as well as being an athlete in HS and College, I am NOT here to do ā€œbootcampā€ or be like every other gym that uses words like ā€œtonedā€ and attracts the cardio bunny crowd. I came here and stayed because of the functional strength training programming and variety and the massive amounts of dumbbells, kettlebells and other strength focused excercises including TRX etc. Coaches Courtney, Gabrielle, Nick, Jordan, Tyler have all been fantastic. When Matt & his wife were still here also FANTASTIC and when Matt got to program weekends 12/10. I walked in today after snowboarding in Europe for the last 2 weeks and was SHOCKED. Cardio station is just the treadmills & zero weight options?! Yuck. I do not need to pay a gym to do a bunch of body weight movements or more cardio. I want to be strong and able to stay fit as I age, and I can do cardio outside rather than a dark (dusty) gym. Honestly, it’s not the changes as much as the entire lack of communication with staff and members regarding making said changes. I don’t want less weights, less strength focused exercise and certainly have issue with a company too worried about $$ to take the time to find out what their staff and members truly believe in and want in coaching. I have had so many friends and even my husband join this gym and now we all want to leave. Before overhauling a great thing, maybe do some communicating with your members and staff. This is entirely disappointing. Also… yes, the gyms are dirty and gross and need to be actually cleaned with the lights on occasionally not just wiped down by members. Machines will be o it of service for weeks with no repair. The AC was broken for weeks on end and continued to get pushback when we asked about it. The cancelation policy is TERRIBLE. I will be emailing as well and hope that you care enough to address these concerns before a lot of people go elsewhere. Coaches & music is always a vibe…. Ownership…. 1/10. Do better *added photos from their website of what they WERE but are quickly changing from …..

COACHING: 5 stars for most coaches, their energy, and music. 6 stars for Courtney, Safi, Matt, and Amar! PROGRAMMING: 4 stars; I did weight training for a number of years so I feel I am pretty strong, but Tuesdays and Thursdays are focused on shoulders and biceps and the bicep work is excessive for most women. EQUIPMENT: 2 stars. Machines can take weeks to be repaired. Currently, the screen on multiple machines turns on but it doesn't actually track calories or distance. I reset the workout on the screen before I start and some machines will say I am running at a sub 4-minute mile pace. I might be fast but I'm not that fast. SENSE OF COMMUNITY: 1 Star. Simply put, there is no sense of community unless you count putting your first in the air and saying "work!" together after class. I've never been to another fitness studio where there are a dozen people waiting for a class in the lobby and nobody talks or interacts. There are different ways to get folks to talk to one another but that starts with the ownership and how they cultivate that. Be aware of their business model that makes them a ton of money: $99/month is great, but it's $15 for each "late cancellation." Late cancellation is cancelling your class less than 8 hours BEFORE it starts. So if something comes up with work, kids, etc. and you cancel 7 1/2 hours BEFORE your class starts, you are automatically charged $15. This rule is absurd and insensitive to the fact that life happens and people have extenuating circumstances. Renegade invests in a sales team to get you signed up. I was contacted several times within two weeks of visiting. Meanwhile, since I have joined and reached out to them, I get a delayed response or no response at all. Overall, Renegade ownership seems to care most about your money & their reviews. I'd stay for the coaches and workouts most days but I can't support a business that demonstrates (through their "late" cancellation policy and lack of responsiveness) it doesn't care whatsoever about it's members.

I'm so excited that we are going to have a facility that is rite down the street from my house. Just off the university ave exit going North. And North Park way exit going South. Located in the Subway sandwich parking lot, last night I noticed it for the first time. I'm so excited, this is something we have needed for a long time.I am looking forward to joining this Renegade Fitcamp. It looked closed last night around 7pm. But I found the website and it says it will be open on Monday March 4th. I took some pictures of the outside to post, (not the greatest quality from inside my car) but this excited me even more. I'm so looking forward to going in on Monday and see how I could get a customized workout for my age(54) and weight that suits me! Yeah Renegade! Looking forward to joining!!

I’m not going repeat what others have said. This is hands down an amazing boot camp gym. I do enjoy coming here, however, I am going to do you guys a favor and just be blunt. Not every gym is perfect.

This is NOT a 50 minute workout class. The class itself is 50 minutes, but the time you actually spend working out is MAYBE 45 minutes…it’s between 40-45 minutes. The coaches will cut time down. Example: Instead of being a 30 second sprint they will cut it down to 20 seconds, instead of a minute run they will cut it down to 45 seconds … and so on. They think we don’t notice, but we do.

Some coaches talk way too fast. I have no idea what they are saying. Sometimes I notice half the class is confused and just look at each other hoping someone understood what we’re supposed to be doing. I notice new people just walk out of class, I don’t think it’s because it’s too difficult for them, but it’s because they truly have no idea what they are supposed to be doing.

Someone needs to go around and do a quality check on the resistance bands. The wear and tear of those things…. Is going to cause someone to get hurt. Same thing with the treadmills. They need to be serviced more often. Sometimes the screen don’t work or it blinks that’s it needs to be serviced.

One last thing they do have an eight hour cancellation policy. That is the dumbest thing I’ve heard. Man at least make it 2 hours. Life is unpredictable….

Hands down the best instructor is Derek!!! I always enjoy taking his class!!!

Anyways I really like this gym. I don’t plan on switching anytime soon. There...
